Time to change the style of the way i try to explain things really. 

Instead of giving you English translation of sentences of what they  mean in Korean, I want to make sure you understand it yourselves.

Instead of translating I will show you when to use it. These can be meaning in the past tense but I think it is much easier to use it in the future tense, There other ways to use If in the past tense

다 보면 = If you keep, continue. V

톰은 이렇게 한국말을 열심히 공부하다 보면 미래에는 한국인처럼 유창히 얘기할수 있을것 같아요. In speech ‘을’ can be taken out

I think if tom continues study Korean hard like this, In the future he will be able to talk Korean fluently like native Korean person.

In this case

Speaker: If tom does continues something, In the future he can do this.

Quoting in Korean is easy,really it is

Method with using 다니

A: ‘내가 한국에 돌아갈거야’

B: 니가 한국에 돌아가다니 엄청 슬퍼.

A: 어젯밤에는 소희가 잘모르는 남자랑 모텔에 갔어

B: 소희가 잘모르는 남자랑 모텔로 갔다니 궁금해.

‘What person A said’다니 Your response.

In this grammar lesson we will focus on a very hard grammar .

The grammar is very difficult because the meaning can not be explained in well to the speaker when asking the question.

Korean use 할리가 없다 when they are expressing a disbelief on a even that will happen in the future.

In this situation the listener already knows Derick only dates Korean girls

so when the speaker says he is dating a white,  the listener will reply with 리가 없다.

Speaker: 데릭은 백인여자랑 사귀고 있을 것 같아

는 반면에 is used in a negative way this is similar to 는탓에 and 는통에

는 반면에 is the negative version of ‘But’ in this case we are going to learn today

수진이가 숙제를 한 반면에 조셉은 게임을 했어요

Sujin did her homework, but Joseph just played video games

중간고사 점수가 아주 높은 반면에 기말고사에 너무 적은 점수를 받았어요

Today we will be look at 도 고해서/고해서. This has a same meaning to 어/아서 and (으)니까 but means: And that is why….

When using 도 고해서 / 고해서 You are stating something that is important, for example if you have eaten dinner late and you cannot dine with someone, you can use 도 고해서/고해서 to stress that you have eaten late so you can not eat with someone later on during the day. Let’s have a look at this situation.

Person A: 저녁 같이 드실래요?

Do you want to eat dinner together in the evening?

Person B: 점심도 늦게 먹고 해서 저녁은 안 먹으려고요. 

I hate a late lunch and that is why I plan on not eating in the evening.

Person A: 피곤한데 택시 안타요?

You are tired therefore you are not taking the taxi?

Person B: 네, 길도 복잡하고 해서 지하철을 타는게 좋겠어요.

Yes, the Road is congested so that is why it will be good to take the underground.

Vocab:

길: Road

복잡하다 : To be congested

는게 좋겠다: Will be good.

늦게 하다: To do something late 늦게 먹다 : To eat late
