Totally agree with this anon- I love what you're doing with m+b. I hope you find a way for your comic to reach a wider audience, you definitely deserve it.
Thank you!! I do have my fingers crossed that if I get M&B into Hiveworks it’ll help, but I don’t know about that yet. Whatever the outcome, I’m going to keep plugging away at Meat&Bone until she’s done.. I’ve had more luck in print, so maybe the EVENTUAL book will do well!

An oldie! This is a Yoruba/Gelede costume. Couldn’t find out too much info on it at the museum, but here’s a bit from wikipedia: “Gelede celebrates “Mothers” (awon iya wa), a group that includes female ancestors and deities as well as the elderly women of the community, and the power and spiritual capacity these women have in society.”
