To continue the topic discussed yesterday, Oxide has not been truthful in their interactions with the public either.
See the above response from Sean Pelletier, Senior Project Manager at nVidia, in correcting Oxide representative Kollock on the use of async compute, in the latest nVidia drivers. It makes me fully question Kollock’s integrity in this discussion moving forward.
Following what I said yesterday, this was a big concern of mine when a developer has been clearly identified as an AMD partner and is now using that bully pulpit platform to manipulate and deceive the public regarding nVidia’s async computer performance.
The Triple AAA narrative (Async, AMD, and Ashes of Singularity) is working wonders, for the layman that is not paying close attention to the details. Moreover, I am rather disappointed with Oxide to resorting to underhanded tactics like this, to further their evangelism of AMD.
