February 21st, 2026: Double congratulations are in order for double the new beginnings! Yumechizu (夢千鶴) and Kokoha (心葉) of Nomura (野村) in Gion Kobu are celebrating their misedashi! They are the first maiko to debut from the newly opened Nomura okiya and have quite the pedigree right off the bat! Yumechizu is the imōto of Mamechizu (豆千鶴), the owner and proprietor of Nomura, while Kokoha is the imōto of Fukuha (福葉), who has recently moved her registration to Nomura. Both onesan are natori geiko with decades of experience, so their knowledge and expertise will be invaluable to the new maiko! Yumechizu's outfit features shōchikubai and tabanenoshi with a crane, tatewaku, and karabana obi while Kokoha's outfit features shōchikubai and partitions with a golden tortoiseshell pattern and lucky symbols ^^ おめでとうさんどす夢千鶴ちゃんと心葉ちゃん ^o^!
