This piece is the idea of Yuma asking Desuhiko if they can hold hands to get inside the school for the case. A stark contrast to canon where Desuhiko just grabs Yuma, I think Yuma would ask Desuhiko to trust him before he disguises him. Showing Yuma being vulnerable and Desuhiko almost seeing his true colours for the first time.
Now I know this probably isn't canon but I had ideas.
Also fun fact, I was trying to do the neon lights of Kanai Ward, but it kind of looks like stage lights to I went with it because it's both a combination of the ward and Yuma actually being a performer. The 2 coming together (and now I think about it, case 2 is a performance. It's all connected!)
