- - - Initializing report #1 - - - day 7. drytop. midday.
The recording makes it way through, though barely as the sound of a sandstorm setting in brewed. It takes a few tries before the transition stabilizes and an irked voice is heard.
"I couldn't tell you what I detested more about this forsaken desert. The endless amount of sand that somehow managed it's way through whatever armor I don, or the unholy sensation of having to tuck my ears into this terrible headgear."
An agitated groan is expelled from the disgruntled asura as she wiped a bead of sweat from her brow.
"Lastly glitch this heat. After some thought, I've concluded that freezing to death in the Shiverpeaks might be a better fate than to remain here. One would spectate that coming from the jungles of Maguuma would have trained me for this. But... It's as if the air has choked all of the moisture into that glitched quicksand that nearly did me in."
The asura sighed, turning her back downwind from the intensifying storm, staring down to the small villa and wreckage that the covered the distance. She stumbled toward the town, giving up her quest for any more signs of layline research.
"It would seem that... Those idiots who I unfortunately, yet consistently, get paired might be on the same trail that I am. Ever since our run in with that 'Scarlet' Sylvari, it seems I am unable to shake the crew. Though I do not deny that... They do have a brilliant mind in their hands. So perhaps for the sake of keeping an eye on the little one... Taimi... I will continue to assist them in their efforts."
The footsteps would seem to pause.
"Perhaps in my time working I've forgotten... A long forgotten desire. Never in a millennium would I find someone who could possibly be worthy to the task of..."
She snickered a the thought, the footsteps pushing onward, a leap is heard as her pace picked up, quickly heading towards the villa. She exhaled, her throat too raspy to talk yet she manages.
"This isn't what I intended to report, a bundle of emotional posh but... No. This entry is completely irrelevant. End Log."
