Koi wo Shiranai Bokutachi wa -Ā Summary - chapters 4 and 5
Here are the summaries for chapters 4 and 5 of Koi wo Shiranai Bokutachi wa!!Ā
Since they are kind of long and somewhat detailed, Iāve written a short paragraph at the end for those who just want to have a brief idea of what happened in the chapter! If you are one of those just search for the TLDR ;)

Chapter 4
The chapters starts with Naohiko and Izumi talking over the phone. Izumi explains that they wonāt be able to meet because her grandfather was hospitalized.
After running a marathon under the blazing sun, Naohiko tells Eiji that running is good since he can forget about his worries and troubles. Eiji thinks that even his friend can feel down and be troubled without showing it. When the boys are walking at the hallway, Eiji notices Fujimura looking over at their direction and Eiji starts staring at Naohiko, without explaining why.
Naohiko has to go to his part-time job and Eiji has to wait until itās time for his library duties. Taichi sees Eiji reading a book alone and asks him if he invited Ikezawa to his bandās live performance. It turns out Eiji completely forgot about it, but heāll try inviting her now.
After asking Ikezawa if she wanted to go to the live, she soon turned the invitation down. She is not interested in that kind of music. Eiji is insistent but that only brings anger to her.
Another day, talking to Naohiko about it, Naohiko mentions that it must be Eijiās way of inviting that was bad. Eiji tries to invite her on LINE but once again she turns him down. Time to try another approach. Eiji thinks that it must be better to go together with a friend, so he invites Ikezawaās friend, Yoshino, and tells her to bring Ikezawa together.
Yoshino tells Ikezawa that Eiji invited her but she thinks that he only did that in order to invite Ikezawa indirectly. Sheās sure Eiji must have feelings for Ikezawa and she presses her friend to ask Eiji why he was trying to invite her. Ikezawa says sheās a bit curious and decides to look out for Eiji.
Eiji decides to report to Taichi his failure and Taichi starts saying he and Ikezawa barely talked. When Taichi and Ikezawa first met, he thought she was a senior since she had a bossy attitude. Taichi then started noticing how efficient and hard-working Ikezawa was. Even when their seniors made her do their share of work, sheād only do it without complaining, Taichi thought she was amazing, but Ikezawa says that the oneās amazing are those who can look at their surroundings and be proactive. After that, they barely talked since their interests were very different. Taichi then says he wanted to invite Ikezawa so they could get along better.
Eiji is surprised by his friend's story and decides he wants to help him even more. He didnāt know Taichi had such feelings. The two are talking when Ikezawa overhears Taichi saying that he likes herā¦
TLDR (chapter 4): the chapter is all about Eiji trying to invite Ikezawa to the live without success. We also got to know how Taichi started having feelings for Ikezawa after seeing how hard-working she was, but due to their different interests they never talked much. By the end of the chapter, Ikezawa overhears Taichi saying that he likes her.
Chapter 5
Picking up from where the previous chapter ended, with Ikezawa hearing taichi say he likes her. Taichi is shocked and runs away without explaining anything. Ikezawa then asks if that is related to why Eiji was trying so hard to invite her. He positively replies and Ikezawa once again refuses his invitation. Meaning that she wonāt reciprocate Taichiās feelings.
Summer vacationās started and the day of live arrived. Naohiko meets Eiji and heās surprised that Eiji is alone. Before the live starts they go meet Taichi, who is wearing sunglasses even if itās weird (since he wanted to hide his face in case Ikezawa showed up).
Eiji and Naohiko are talking while other bands are performing. Eiji says he regrets doing what he did and that it was his fault, since he did things uncalled for. Naohiko says that he had never seen Eiji be proactive in regards to love affairs and he wanted both Eiji and Taichi to give their best.
Taichi is reflecting before his presentation starts. From the very beginning he ran away without doing anything, not even trying to invite Ikezawa himself. Although his band is next, he then rushes to Eiji and Naohiko and asks them to call Ikezawa for him. He tells Ikezawa that he didnāt even have the courage to invite her but he really wanted her to come so they could get along better.
In the middle of the phone call, Taichiās friend takes him away since their band is next and Eiji finishes the talk with Ikezawa over the phone. Eiji tells her that Taichi doesnāt expect her to return his feelings and he just wants them to be friends, and asks her if she can come. Ikezawa says sheās not such a cold woman to refuse this invitation and she asks where she has to go to. Eiji then rushes to meet Ikezawa and bring her, since he feels sheās also gonna be running.
When Eiji and Ikezawa meet, she asks why is it that Eiji looks so happy and he replies that itās because itās different from the past. Even though, both of them were running when they arrive Taichiās band performance has already ended. Finally, Ikezawa and Taichi get to meet and Taichi says that next time heāll invite her himself and asks if she can come as a friend. Ikezawa says that sheāll be looking forward to it, what makes Taichi extremely happy.
Ikezawa, Eiji and Naohiko are going home together and Eiji is extremely satisfied, he didnāt know he could feel like this. When the boys part with Ikezawa, she stares at the two and she wonders what Eiji meant when he said āitās different from the pastā, it looked like it he was talking about himselfā¦
TLDR (chapter 5): after Ikezawa hears that Taichi likes her, Taichi runs away and Ikezawa decides not to go to his band's live, meaning she wonāt reciprocate his feelings. On the day of the live, Taichi calls Ikezawa and tells his feelings himself. He says he only wants them to get along better. Eiji asks Ikezawa to go to the live since Taichi doesnāt expect her to return his feelings. Eiji brings Ikezawa, but they donāt make it in time, despite running there. Taichi and Ikezawa meet and Taichi asks her to come to their next live as a friend. Ikezawa replies that sheāll be looking forward to it. Eiji is satisfied and he didnāt know he could feel like this. Ikezawa is intrigued by Eijiās wordsā¦ what did he mean when he said he was happy because it was different from the past? He seemed to be talking about himselfā¦
I thought Izumi is the one for Eiji. He really loved her for years. I think I also like her innocent cheerfulness. But after Izumi's feelings was exposed in ch.18-19, I thought maybe Mizuho is the one for Eiji. Even though she's not his type, I thought maybe he would like her after she confessed her love. But in the end I am so hooked on Eiko like crazy. Yeah, Koharu is the best one for Eiji. I guess Koharu's created by sensei for Eiji as Eiji's created for Koharu. Sensei give me some clues, but I didn't consider it before. And now I get it totally.
Did Eiji's feelings & actions happen too sudden & impulsive?
Right. I think Eiji's character is very unique in the shoujo manga I've read, but the truth is that there are many people who are not good at finding their desires and are slow in determining their actions. He was completely confused. His heart and deeds are incompatible. The important thing is that there is no conflict outside, chaos inside is not a problem for him. And I want to give big thumbs up to Sensei who created this kind of character so strong in Eiji.
So, did Eiji's feelings change from loving Izumi to loving Koharu too quickly?
Not really quick. I think Eiji liked Koharu from the first time they met, since he could see Koharu's feelings for Nao, even before the incident kissing Izumi at the festival. But his love only grew because of caring. That's why he grabbed Koharu's hand and asked her out.
"Instead of getting hurt loving them, why can't she just be with me? I want to accompany her, to be with her, as long as she doesn't get hurt."
And that feeling is saved little by little. From caring to curiosity, from knowing and understanding to wanting to help, from feeling pity to wanting to protect, from interaction to love. Maybe it wasn't as much love as he did when he loved Izumi, but it was there and growing in his heart. For Koharu.
When one feeling (towards Koharu) grew, at the same time the other feeling (towards Izumi) became weak. His regret closed with the acknowledgment and apology until his heart agreed: this feeling must be ended. He gave up totally on Izumi.
So I thought it was natural that he looked so suddenly changed. But as soon as he understood his mistake then realized that he likes Koharu, Eiji's character changes drastically heroically. Eiji immediately acted fast. Imagine. Too fast. It's just a matter of days from the kissing incident at the clinic to getting that love completely, haha. I don't mind, Eiji, because Koharu does need you.
At first I was just annoyed and annoyed with his nature. Please, Eiji, what do you really want? I care more about Taichi who seems clearer. But after that "sudden" change, somehow Eiji became the most handsome. And true: he's the perfect partner for Koharu.

Ugh, just one another post, please... I have to focus for real! If my project finish, then I will write so much about them ā chayo!
I wanna explain a litlle about Eiji's effort when he chase Koharu. A funny thing is he's so insensitive and tactless, hehe, he dig his own grave when he asked her, "am i really trouble maker?" And when he said to her, "you're a slow runner." Haha, you're deserved her reaction like that. But I see he's caring so much about Koharu's expressions. And sometimes he's waiting, seek the opportunity, & really wanna know her reactions. Good job, Eiji!
Another sweet thing is he will accompany her even her favorite place to hang out isn't his favorite.
I can't speak... Really... Sob... I... I am... I am too happy š¢š¤§š„ŗ my wish come true, but not all yet... Me in this chapter like Izumi when wave her hand energetically... I'm happy for both of you! I'm waiting for another development love story with sugar: sweet & fluffy.
Eiji is full of happiness. His smile in this chapter is really alluring, more than his back for me. We're different here, Mizuho, tehe. Maybe you should see Taichi's back? I wanna see taimi development too. I hope it will happened soon.
And Koharu is full of tears, but in the happiness. Owh Yas, I wanna see that tears, that smile, & that blushing expression together. Even their dialogue & body language make me melted.

Why koiboku has to end quickly? Huhuhu, I'm really sad. But it's okay, I wanna support sensei's decision too. Somehow I feel bad if I push her with my wishes anymore. So I won't say I wanna sequel. Thank you for your hard work, sensei. Just hope you live happily & keep healthy.
Is taimi's development too rush? Sorry, I don't think so. Because I can understand Mizuho's serious side to stop one feeling & to start other feeling really quickly. Based on my experience & my way to think, tehe. But apparently I can't get her why she make an appointment for senpai although she remembers about her promise. Hey, you made that promise before, right!?
So, what about your appointment with senpai? Is it really that important? More than your promise? I get the feeling that senpai will confess in Christmas Eve. Am I wrong that I think senpai hit on you? Although I start to to understand Mizuho, I'm not her way of thinking about this decision.
And I think so about Koharu. Taichi's friend from another school hit on her so she feels on trouble because it's unpleasant to get rid his invitation (like sugi). Then she has Eiji as boyfriend now. I can see how happy Eiji to be relied on.
Though he's like this before, haha.
Eiko is cute together as always, also in this chapter. Not only Koharu who's in really fall in love, but also Eiji. But, where's Izumi?? I wanna see her in this chapter too!
