But like…I’m one of those people that can be persuaded to ship things I’d never thought of (or am just indifferent to) if there is some nice fan content of them (maybe with interesting/fun/good characterization)! (Like when reading I never really thought about Kurou/Tsuki but like there is some cute fan stuff out there…so….) (Also, I’m kinda a bad fan- I always read HQ!! in chunks kinda far apart, so I forget a lot of everythingthe lesser focused on players for each team…so those ships are practically off the table for me~ I’m not against them, I’m just like ‘whooo?’ Being bad with names doesn’t help though, I guess). ( ; ^ u ^ )But ah~! I digress!! The short answer is I can gladly ship *lots* of things in HQ!, but those two at the top there are like THE otps. Soo yeah~ I hope that’s an okay answer! hey! i just stumbled upon your blog, and your art is really cool! but i wanted to ask about your nick. is there any story behind it? or you just named yourself after japanese word for pumpkin? in that case it's kAbocha, not kobocha(^_-)

Ah! Well, ‘hello’, ‘watch your step’, and ‘thank you’ then! ヾ(*ゝω・*)ﾉ I’ve actually used the name ‘Kobocha’ a while now (around 9 years, wow!), and it started out as my DeviantArt username! You’re right in that it was supposed to be the Japanese word for ‘pumpkin’ originally, but back when I chose the name I knew absolutely no Japanese. I didn’t know any hiragana(or what hiragana even was, haha) to double-check the spelling, and whatever source I used at the time for the translation had Romanized the word as ‘kobocha’ for some reason! I don’t know if it was a typo or just a plain mistake or what, but that’s what I ended up with. And even when I realized my error in the past I found out ‘Kabocha’ was already in use on DA anyway, so I just stuck with my typo name! Now I’ve used it so long I’ve become rather attached to it. <3Despite it being a typo, I’ve also kept the association with pumpkins because I still think they can be cute and because it was the original intent of the name!So yeah! I guess that is a pretty boring explanation, but I hope it is a satisfactory answer! Thank you for the ask!Have a nice day!! <3 <3 <3
