In fact, the only way to learn that the kobold has gotten access to the cookie jar, is by discovering that most cookies are in fact already gone. Even if you hide that jar well, theres a few issues.

1. The kobold will just sneakily follow you and find where you hide the cookie jar.

2. The kobold will know all the good places to hide stuff and thus doesnt even need to find out by following you.

But all of these troubles are about to be over. Because of an incredible new Idea I thought of. Kobells. You just have a kobold wear a collar with a Kobell on it, and whenever the little creechur is out and about, youll hear the characteristic dull dongs of their Kobell.
