A: You might feel as though you are chained, but you always have a choice. Even if that choice seems to be between the devil you know, and the one you don’t. Things seem dark, but don’t get discouraged, you need to keep a level head (as much as possible) to change your situation

B: The people under your control (for some of you it’s employees, for some of you it’s your family) are not going to bend to your will. They have their own agency, and their own will, and their own paths to take. You don’t need to control every single thing, and you don’t need to control everyone around you. For those of you who are bosses, there’s a difference between “running a tight ship” and being a straight up menace to your employees, and they will agree wholeheartedly with that. Learn some compassion, and learn the difference between discipline and being a dick
