            Each footstep kicks up a bit of gravel along the curb.             Watching the small pieces skip down the side of the              street happened to be mildly entertaining. With one              final kick, the large piece of blacktop he’d be helping             down the road managed to fall beneath the grating              of the sewage and disappear into the dark. 

"Taylor Swift? The whiny blonde Terran who sings about her woes? Why do you want to listen to her?" She had recently caught up on Terran culture and was quite proud of herself.

He chuckles easily at the mess he created -- Sue is on vacation, and he is making the most of it.
