Palace staff frantically scampered about, like ants on a picnic blanket.
Each held their own assigned duty and were eager to get it done as quickly as possible.
After all, in three days time the Princess of Corona was to be wed! Handmaidens rushed to prepare the guest rooms, dusting from top to bottom, waxing the floors-- straightening the linens. The chefs and bakers set in motion the final touches to their menus.
Even the King and Queen were EXTRA busy. Reading over the guest list. Several royals had been invited – though Rapunzel had never personally met them.
Not that she minded, if the day she married the love of her life meant a party for everyone, then it seemed like a win for all! She could still recall the fond memories of her return home!
That celebration lasted DAYS .... and she hadn’t forgotten a minute of it. (unlike Eugene)
If it could be like that, then it was a success.
Speaking of guests, she had an important job to do herself. The star-freckled maiden needed to introduce herself to ‘Princess Belle’ one of the first to arrival .... she’d never met another royal close to her age before. So the thought of making a new friend excited her.
bare feet tapped against the marble floors as she skipped toward the meeting place (making sure to also dodge staff that were carrying large stacks of dinner plates)
Belle was likely in the throne room, being greeted by her parents! Once her destination was reached, the tiny flower swung open the doors! Glimmering emeralds immediately landed on the beautiful brunette standing before the royal couple.
“Ahhhh, you must be Princess Belle!” The woman’s face was like pure porcelain making her big hazel eyes stand out even more.
The rumors were certainly true. -
Her looks have got no parallel!
“Sorry I’m late! My name is PR-” having tried to sprint forward to greet her ... Rapunzel ended up slipping on her own golden tresses. Causing the poor thing to hit the floor with a THUD.
“Ow....... incess .... Rapunzel..”
