Got some fixed Lantern Moon cords to compare with the swivel ones. They're the same size, so they both have a tiny "lip" where they connect to the cord. Basically, if you have trouble with yarn catching at the connector on the swivels, the fixed ones won't be any better. Now you know! Still a great upgrade that's compatible with my knitpicks & knitter's pride tips, so I'm happy to add another pair to my collection, but I was hoping the fixed would have a smoother join at the cables. Alas, no! (Sorry I don't know where the little calipers are, but my @katrinkles_knitting_jewelry ruler of good enough to show you that the base of each is 1mm and the top is 2mm. The fixed ones have an extra tightening hole and the swivels have an line at the top.
