The Knight’s Hall, Le Mont St Michel Le Mont St Michel is a wonderfully mystical and romantic place, rising from the mud flats and accessible only by bridge. I have wanted to visit here for many years and it didn’t disappoint. Through winding streets up to the abbey every now and then you get a glimpse of the view through the buildings and it’s breathtaking. In the Knight’s Hall I had one of those moments where it really hit me that knights were not just characters in a story... they were REAL PEOPLE who existed IN THIS SPACE.
