Dean was not really a solitary creature. Anybody who knew him back home knew enough about him to know that sticking him at a camp in the middle of nowhere was one thing, that was in his element, but alone? Stuck in a house with musty books and fluffy pillows was not his jam. So, like a copper coated puppy waiting by the window for his masters to arrive, the newest demigod, the son of Apollo, had been staring out into the skies waiting for the other to arrive. There were only so many bonks to the head from the old magic lady he could take.
A wide grin tugged at the corners of Dean’s tanned features as the herd of pegasi, if they were even called a herd, began to descend from the skies to the stables. Obvious he gave the group some time to land, get settled back in and regain their barings. It wasn’t until the next morning, was he ready to meet the other demis officially. Bare foot and in nothing but a pair of gym shorts, Dean jogged out of the house, waving at the first new face he saw. “Hey!” he called over to the bulky raven haired stranger leaving the Aspida house. A lopsided smirk tugging at his lips. “Are you one of the other demigods?” he rubbed at the back of his head, more of a nervous tick than anything else.
