This is what the life of a full time artist looks like. Arting away, all the time, everywhere! • If you swipe right, you'll find the finished flyer for my new band Knife Friend's f i r s t s h o w in the Atlanta area. • I'm deeply thankful to be able to create from my heart & support my life doing so, around people who inspire the hell outta me! For some (like myself) a 9-5 is just not sustainable for survival, much less for wellness psychologically or spiritually. Getting started as a full time creator, especially while healing myself and confronting pain from serious past trauma, has not been easy. Yet there is not a day in my life where it isn't worth it. It's taken disillusionment after disillusionment and a commitment that spans my entire lifestyle. Though I've never questioned that building my life this way is undoubtedly the right decision. Not everyone understands the ways which productivity can apply differently, or that I manage my time and energy in a way that fulfills this first and foremost. It's my passion, my self care, my reason to wake up, even when it is the unknown "X" factor. Knife Friend itself has been a directly generated creation of that, to add onto the ever-growing list of projects that keep me excited to continue to contribute. Find empowerment in what you're making, no matter the rate it's manifesting - I promise it is one of the most gratifying processes to ever partake in: making your own life a masterpiece. 🖤 . . . #creations #healingarts #hearingartseeingsound #knifefriend #diymusic #artistsoninstagram #folkpunk #ukulele #followyourbliss (at Atlanta, Georgia) https://www.instagram.com/eedenshale/p/BqYryZNFYAa/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1e9ss7wzmwsqg
