I finally gathered the courage to ask today,Actually, I've always been curious about Simon,The story behind this tall man,Can you tell me about it?ヽ(｡･ω･｡)ﾉ

Simon was born in 1914 and died in 1939 due to malpractice in a mental institute. His father died from tuberculosis and his mother passed from other sickness. His brothers died in war. Simon was always a bit slow, mentally struggling where everyone else succeeded around him. Since he couldn't go to war like his brothers who excelled in just about everything, he was considered useless. Only his dying mother loved him. When she passed, he was unfit to care for himself, and any relatives left sent him to an institute. Malpractice was sadly common in those days, and even worse in some places.
I can't explain more due to spoilers, but he lived a painful rest of his life till his death in 1939.
The Hospital gave him a second chance, his mind healed, and his body warped to protect innocents around him. He still is a bit socially awkward like he was when he was alive, sweet boy.

I just thought of something, And I don't remember if I asked this before, please accept my apology if I did send this ask and forgot.
But, since we know what the daily life of everyone in the regular patients wing where Elise stays, what is the the daily life of the ones in the other wing and children's ward?

Children's Ward, Oswald does his best to keep things very normal and healthy for the children. Breakfast is a given and the nurse casts deliver it. Lunch is a choice for those who want it, and dinner also. There is also dessert which most kids love to have. He plays all sorts of games with them, giving them puzzles and other enrichment to help them grow, depending on the age of the child. He has scheduled naps if they are needed, and he lets them read or make up their own stories if they'd like. Just a very active day every day in the children's ward. It all wraps up when he gets all the kids in their beds to sleep, tucking them in or reading to them to help. Starts over the next day. The children do get occasional check ups by Walter for progress and occasionally Imogen (the Nurse) will see to them. (Much to Oswald's nervousness around her.)
The West Wing is.... Special. And due to more drastic cases and dangers, the daily routines are different than East Wing. Walter (the Doctor) does spend more time in the WW trying his hardest to help the patients with what ails them. Electricity keeps them in check. As I've stated before, people do not have to eat here unless they want to for the sake of normalcy. WW do not get this choice unless a patient requests it to help them on recovery. This also depends on the patient. Breakfast does not happen, Simon (WW Orderly) will check each patient to make sure they are in their rooms and not hurt in any way. Then Walter begins treatments on various patients and the list switches the next day and so on. Final check on patients, and then lights out for stability in that wing.
What exactly does the Doctor do?
Walter? He runs tests on patients and helps them learn what makes them tick. Sometimes his experiments are.... a bit rough but mainly on the West Wing Patients. The ones that need a harder teaching because they are more... well, vicious to those around them. He is a bit... kinda crazy but he tries to be good to the patients and help them. He does his best at least!
I might sound dumb because of this question, but how exactly tall is Oswald?

Ozzy is a whopping........ Y'know I had him down as 8'4" [254cm] a long while back, but I think he's a bit taller than that.... 10 or 11ft? Somewhere around there possibly. Tallest in the Hospital, minus some unshown West Wing patients.

Something I'm curious about (sorry if this has been asked before, you can ignore if it has), are any of the Hospital staff friends with each other? The Archivist has respect for the Doctor, but are there instances of folks just hanging out here and there, exchanging gossip/funny stories, etc.?

Oliver and Simon get along pretty well. They are good mutual buddies, and if Oliver's temper gets the best of him, Simon can always grab him to snap him out of it. Imogen, the nurse, she stays away from everyone. Walter is too caught up in his own wacky mental world. Oswald gets along with Oliver and Simon pretty well, he doesn't bother Imogen and he questions the doctor's sanity sometimes (rightfully so). Sonia is very neutral to everyone except Walter cuz she honestly has big dokis for him. And Sing, well.... No one cares for Sing other than his purpose and that's it, so Sing makes himself a bit annoying, just for the Orderlies especially lol
What Knell 💉 [Horror/Drama] about?
Knell is my "therapy" story. Since I was never allowed to get help for my depression and other issues I have, I had to come up with something to try and therapy myself through things, and what other way than to make a vent story but it's an actual full story? It is to help myself and also help others who need it.
