the hero refuses to kill you

you keeping screaming at them to kill you, but your hero just stands there weeping like some kind of fool. you grab onto their collar and scream, and you're probably spitting on them. how many times do you have to shake them for the sense to come flooding back? you both were so close to finally ending this a few minutes ago! now they're just crying and shaking their head and trying to hold your wrists. you're powerless! this is their chance! you collapse to your knees and sob.

you've  been  left  beaten  down     &     by  someone  you  really  trusted     &     loved ,   so  now  love  doesn't  come  easy  for  you .     you  want  it  to .     you  want  to  love     &     be  loved ,   but  you're  not  sure  you  remember  how .     so  you  need  someone  else  to  take  the  lead .     they  have  to  be  gentle     &     sweet     &     patient .     they  have  to  watch  out  for  you ,     &     make  sure  you’re  doing  okay ,   because  most  days  you  feel  a  little  fragile ,   if  not  totally  shattered .     but  someone  will  come  along  who  will  put  those  pieces  back  together  again .

Vessel.

Kurai has a bond with a demon and can open his body to the demon’s possession. While under possession Kurai sees an increase in speed, strength and agility and can summon the flames of hell. In this form, Kurai gains two black horns, red skin, and black bat-like wings. His eyes also glow.

Applications

Enhanced speed, strength, and ability.

Flight.

Summoning of the flames of hell which are black in appearance and more difficult than regular flame to extinguish.

Limitations

The demon can be hard to control at times and can take over Kurai’s will. This does not happen as often as it used to.

The possession tires Kurai’s body fairly quickly, he can only hold the form for 20 minutes at a time.

The demon possessing him can go beyond the limits of his body, meaning if he is injured, Kurai may collapse or could even die if injured enough after the possession ends.

The Hell Flames that his demon form can summon will burn him once he is no longer possessed.
