In one of the episodes Caroline said that there is no allure to darkness, oh how wrong she was… 

The dark aspect of their relationship is what appeals people to it, Caroline and Klaus are enemies, they tried to kill each other, they often play the mouse and cat game and “cover their connection with hostility". But beneath all they want each other. Yes Klaus shows that more but lets not forget that he putted her life in danger more than once, as Caroline. But in the end of the day they both no matter how determined and settled they are against each other, Klaus obviously hurt will stay and help Caroline dig graves, and Caroline even knowing that killing Klaus will save a lot of troubles to pretty much everyone on earth, can’t stop feeling guilty for it. Klaus and Caroline they both have this dark nature, they are ready to do everything for the people who they care about. They both are in the darkness and the only difference between them is that Caroline has this light in her, this strength, this friendliness and this open mindedness that Klaus lacks of. 

Personally, I love it, I love Klaroline, these games they are playing , the revival they have and the beauty in the danger and the unapproved bond they share.

 I would love to see more Klaroline scenes but only with the dark aspect because without this without the possessiveness,  the thrill of the unknown, of the possibility that a second after a beautiful romantic moment they share they may fight, stab each other, runaway, or tear each other’s clothes,THERE IS NO KLAROLINE RELATIONSHIP. That what also pissed me so much about the unconfirmed telephone call spoiler that was released. 

There is Beauty in the darkness, and it is just so clear when you look at Klaroline.
