HC that Mari made superhero themed jackets to help raise funds to buy new equipment and materials for Kitty Section's upcoming gigs and needed model shots, but Alya and Adrien, who were supposed to model, couldn't come. Luka would sub for Adrien, but none of the girls were around.

Mari: *GASP* We don't have a model to wear the Viperion jacket?!?

Luka: Yeah, you do. Right here. *points at Mari*

Mari: Oh...um...Luka, I'm not a model.

Luka: Well, why not? You're beautiful. <3

I made this thinking in the future, I imagine Marinette supporting Luka and Kitty section, Luka feeling su lucky to have a girlfriend like Mari and post a IG picture right after concert with his love.❤️

Silencer was. brilliant. I’m so happy with it!!! We got some good Lukanette content (Like, REALLY fucking good. Shockingly so), we got a super interesting akuma, we got Chat Noir being a total fucking dork, and the ANIMATION WAS ON POINT!!! 

I’m also super happy that we’ve gotten to see more of Marinette’s design talent! The only complaint I have with Marinette’s designs is that they weren’t total designs, I guess. They just went over the clothes her friends were already wearing, instead of being totally different outfits altogether. I think that’s just because the animation team probably didn’t want to put on totally different clothing on top of the characters, maybe. Still, I would love to see a full-outfit design with the concepts Marinette came up with. They’re super cute and actually really well done!

I kind of also want to see what Marinette makes for KittySection in the future. Those designs are good for now, especially since the group is mostly made up of teenagers ranging from 14-16, but if the band is going to continue for years to come, their designs are probably going to mature a bit. I hope it doesn’t totally stray from the original designs, but still gets refined. I really liked the cat masks, for example. (Especially Juleka’s.) But maybe the armor they’re wearing gets more tweaking, less awkward, and the colors are changed a little.

I think there’s only a few complaints I’ve had with this episode. I didn’t like Luka’s akuma design 100%. The colors would have been better, in my opinion, if the green were replaced by blue, and there was a little more blending between the colors. (Like with Luka’s hair.) Also, the helmet... Wasn’t too great. I understand the design, but I don’t know how it got from the cat mask to that.

I know they were going with the concept of Luka’s mouth being covered, for symbolism reasons maybe?? But it defeats the purpose if he’s still talking... with his puppet hands. Doesn’t he need his hands to fight? That seems impractical. Plus, the cat mask originally only covered the eyes. I think it would have been cooler if instead of the voices he takes from other people being sucked into a helmet, he just straight up ate the voices of other people. 

I also kind of wished that Ladybug would be able to use her powers if she could use sign language. Mute and deaf people exist, I’m sure there could have been a Ladybug in the past that couldn’t outright speak, so the Ladybug powers should be accessible without outright yelling it. (It could be used for stealth that way, too.) Also Ladybug said something about being stuck as Ladybug forever and ://// You could just... take the earrings off, if you needed to. (This may have been a mistranslation, however, so I’m not gonna go into that.)
