I'm not going to belittle Jim here, he had his reasons (even though I think restarting an entire timeline is stupid) I don't belittle him... but his mother shouldn't have gotten that ending in the horrible film

that was reasons: She was a single mother, I don't know what she hears from Jim's father, whether he was an asshole or not, I don't know, she raised her son alone, she was a doctor and didn't even have time for herself, she almost DIED because of Walter ( nothing against qwq) defended her son even when he was going to practically risk his life (which leaves a mother completely emotionally worried) she literally faced MERLIN!! when jim was transformed and when she finally got her happy ending with the person she loves and almost getting married. There are these beautiful scenes of Walter dying in a failed attempt to destroy a titan and his son going to a parallel reality (or I don't know if he restarted time) leaving her, Claire and all his friends in that destroyed universe, losing more of 2 people in 1 day!!
