i feel like, in a space-themed book (which i feel fits you somehow),, you'd be a wandering embodiment of a star. searching and exploring the universe for something unknown, you'd meet the main characters when they're on a restock trip on some low to mid-populated planet with a quiet atmosphere. you have a sort of lighthearted yet mysterious aura to you,, once described as "aloof" in the second paragraph talking about you. not in a bad way, though. you either seem to know more than the main cast or are entirely uninvolved with whatever the important main plot is. you'd be one of the fan favorites and all fanart/descriptions of you would have a mystical vibe to them.
in a book themed on earth,, you'd be a best friend; ambitious and out there, but there's always something deeper about you,, like you get it in a way no one else around the main character does. eventually there'll be a plot twist or a story shift mid-book and you'd turn into the main character,, the original mc sidelined as it's your time to shine in the spotlight and roll up your sleeves.
as a general book character instead of a following-the-book-plot character,, you'd still be a fan favorite. bright and, again, out there,, and with a deep inner conflict/past that makes you a prime number #1 at the top of the list for character studies and/or character analyses.
