When you are considering adding a young cat to your senior household, please understand the right cats DO work out! Instead of choosing a rowdy outgoing kitten for your quiet senior, consider one that is quiet and shy. You want the pair to have a lot in common and not the kitten attacking the senior. Meet Verna's new family of 5! 😻 It wasn't too unexpected to learn she was going to be a mama yesterday, considering her size. Then she had the kittens less than 12 hours after seeing the vet to confirm! Everyone is doing well, although we are very sorrowful one didn't make it. We will be announcing the names as soon as i can get better photos of the family! So... It looks like we may have kittens in the next few weeks! 🤦 I would have fixed Verna this summer, except she was ear tipped! I cannot imagine raising kittens in an RV, but i may not have another choice! Either way, she will be safe, well cared for and then spayed after the kittens are weaned.
