2枚目の写真が修復前。シャビーさにも程があるのか、今ひとつ受けが悪かったので、腰上だけ綺麗にしてみました。白木のままだと使っているうちに汚れて薄汚くなったり木が割れたりするので、シャラックを染み込ませてありますが艶出しはせず。シャビーさは残しつつクリーンになりました。 　このタイプのイスは主にイングランド北西部の方で、19世紀中頃から後期にかけて、実用的なキッチンチェアとして重宝されました。一般的なウィンザーチェアと違ってエルムよりはアルダーなど雑木的な材を混ぜて作られています。塗装される事が前提だったので木目には拘らなかったようです。しかし、かけ心地は抜群に良い椅子です。#windsorchair #kitchenchair #aldar #antique #antiqueshop #tokyo #gotokuji (Swallowdale Antiques) https://www.instagram.com/p/B5bw1qmlegn/?igshid=18tm9d5677e4g
