𝑻𝒘𝒐 𝒔𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒉𝒖𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒐𝒊𝒅𝒔 𝒇𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅 𝒔𝒐𝒍𝒊𝒄𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒉 𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓'𝒔 𝒚𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒍𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝒍𝒐𝒔𝒕 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒂𝒏𝒚.

Yu's absolutely an Omega that everyone mistakes for an Alpha, and by now he's just kinda assumed the role because like, his friends need someone to keep them together and he feels like people might see him too differently if he admits to his actual secondary gender. It's just easier this way.

On the flipside, Makoto is absolutely an Alpha that everyone thinks is an Omega, partly because of his build and partly just because he usually doesn't have the energy to act like many people think an Alpha has to act. Why make big shows of intimidation, power and being territorial when it's just easier to not do that?

The two of them would absolutely end up meeting and clocking each other without even really realizing it. First time Makoto ever openly courts anyone and Yu is being extremely shy about it, which is throwing everyone that knows these two for a loop. That's not....how that's supposed to work, is it?

Then again, Yu is weirdly caring and nurturing for an Alpha, having basically immediately taken to Nanako like she was his own pup. Meanwhile Makoto can be very weirdly stand off-ish for an Omega, not backing down even when an Alpha snarls on his face. Probably should have been some of the first hints that something's off-
