'i need you to believe me.'
&  HOW  HE  LAUGHS  &  laughs  &  laughs  /  cackles âtill that tongue could fall.  such a haunting melody  (  *  heed it in the dark of the night  )  &  ,  too ,  an extended one.  arms raise with spreading claws  &  all.  seconds rot  &  the tune still falls  â  &  then.  SILENCE.  what is preferred  :  that deafening howling or this roaring hush  ?  for now the fixation lies upon that vacant mask.
â   i  trusted  you  ⊠ once.  â   he begins with tone so eerily.  â   &  i  became  this  thing.   â   the words fall from lines one by one ,  mere traces of abhorrence inside every change of cadence.  the air  â  how it tightens at the sound  &  how it tightened when his figure was trapped within the rubble  &  ash.  the PAIN.  oh ,  the struggle to breathe  !  he blinks himself into reality  &  here arrives the SNARL  :   â  why  should  i  EVER  believe  you  ?  â
