(2/2) - Pre-Production: The second half features more focus on environment and color keys. I wanted to start with having the color palettes of each scene dictated by the dominant character in the scenes and begin to mix and mingle as the characters came together and true feelings were revealed.

Our Pre-Production class had each of us choose a fairytale or folktale and revamp it into a new and original concept. I chose the story of Rumplestiltskin, which follows a young inventor named Amira who teams up with the last of the dark elves to find an energy source for a corrupt and maniulative king.
