I was eagerly waiting for his reveal and hoping for an older man, the in-game model at least gives the right vibes but I was determined to make him a beefy Daddy 🙏 It took me some time but the latest version is close enough to how I envision him!!

In the fandoms I'm in (mainly gacha) I rarely have a chance to draw a Daddy, but drawing that kind of man is my true calling and Varka is finaly giving me a long awaited chance to do it!

I LOVE BAIZHU! 💚

I love his appearance and design, his English voice (a lot), his lore... I don't love how Hoyo mistreated him with an unrelated event for his release and no comeback during the Chenyu Vale quest. I would love to see his story evolve, and more of him in general!!

I drew the cover art for Transcending Transience: A Baizhu Zine (2023), I organize with friends the yearly Baizhu Week (on X and Bsky) doing graphics for it and and I recently commissioned for my community a pack of animated Baizhu cursors (Free download)!

The Baizhu pfp is a modern-day version from my ongoing Genshin modern AU comic (free to read HERE) called "Heart of Stone" and Baizhu is one of the main characters! (Kaveh is his best friend and Zhongli his -future- love interest)

Last but not least, I regularly draw spicy Baizhu art on my Patreon! Characters I drew him with are: Alhaitham, Kaveh, Dottore, Pantalone, Neuvillette, Childe... but I mostly draw him with Zhongli! Zhongzhu has been my OTP for years!! 🥹🫶🧡💚

Baizhu and Kaveh's relationship as besties was a lot of fun to portray because they have no canon interactions/voice lines about each other so it was a blank canvas haha

I learned Photoshop when I first approached digital art and I've always used it! I draw on a screenless, 14 years old, Wacom Bamboo tablet that's holding on for dear life, functioning only thanks to an old and duct-taped Android cable hahaha

I'm not sure I'll ever be ready to let go of it, I guess we'll be together until it works and then I'll hang it on the wall in a commemorative frame. The best love story of my life so far∽
