Cryo who's your bestest friend in the mulitverse
cryo has serious beef with anyone who engages with the positivity/negativity conflict (particularly the stars, but I'll talk about that later...). He's neutral, and associates only with other neutral AUs. He's friends with Sci because Sci finds interest in the crystal. He's friends with Outer because he loves the stars there.
Is Saejun a person or another name for the crystal? Maybe an owner of the souls made from them?
*Nah, Saejun is just Farmtale's Sans. He's a nice guy.
So is Cryo a case like Color, where the only reason he's not nearly a god/ a god is due to how close to death we was when he became the crystal's host? Or does the crystallization power fundamentally change something with the way the power works?
Very cool AU btw I like it a lot
I don't know much about Color's lore as i have not read the source material, but its sort of both and also a secret third thing?? A short (not short, i'm a liar) explanation: The crystal was created from the human souls, meaning its a form of determination. (This is my personal hc of "souls are just a physical form of determination and the type of soul determines the amount of DT contained in the soul") When Cryo gained the crystal, he automatically equipped it. When he did this he was close to dying, and because of the crystal's main objective being the main use of DT: to stay alive (But They Refused) It took it upon itself to keep Cryo alive. In the process of doing its One Main Objective, the crystal fused and changed his magic unintentionally. I described it in other posts and too Cake as "Cannibalizing Sans's regular magic and gluing the pieces back together to make something new." Basically, the reason he's not some sort of god is because that's just not what the crystal's main objective is. It's main objective is to Keep Him Alive. If he's in enough danger, maybe the crystal could rise to match whatever threat is posed against him (theoretically). But his body would absolutely not be able to take the strain. and killing Cryo is the exact opposite of the crystal's Main Objective. TLDR: He's not a god because the host the crystal chose is too weak to support that power. If the crystal had something different, that hypothetical being would absolutely be a god. And he cant basically commit suicide to use the full power of the gem, because it won't let him.
Cryo when was the last time you slept?
no it doesn't, idiot >:/

So, cryo has issues with those who partake in the positivity vs negativity conflict, yes?
If he were to meet an alternate versions of someone engaged in the conflict (ex: a sans from a different timeline of underswap) would those feelings extend to them?
has issues with the people involved in the conflict (Mostly the Stars) Because when he was fighting with Ink, he saw how ultimately useless it was to expend all of your energy and to ruin your mental health in a never-ending war. (Also because Ink had some misconceptions on how much stress most people could handle, they tended to push not only Cryo, but also Blue and Dream to their limits and then some.) If he were to meet someone, for example Dream, from another multiverse he would probably only have an issue with them if they were locked in the same sort of situation instead of finding a more peaceful solution. He wants there to be balance, instead of chaos.
CRYO!!! THIS IS SO IMPORTANT ARE YOU READY???
whats yr favorite candy
i gotta know man I gotta!!!! For science!!!! Or something!!!! Yep!!!!
*well candy isn't THAT important, but i would have to say some sort of gummy candy. A lot of them are really pretty looking, and they taste like fruit!
When was the worse time you appeared in an au and regretted it? Same question for best time and you felt privileged to appear in that moment
*Accidentally popped into this place called "Horrortale." Negative AU for sure. Hunkered down on the outskirts as soon as i figured out how awful it was and got out as soon as my magic recharged. *. . .Being in Underswap for the first time, and being able to talk and laugh with other people and feel... safe... after so long. I'll never forget it. *I wish I could go back, But that's not really an option at the moment.
