One of the most common questions that I get about hair are scalp issues like itching and flaking: 1. Tea tree or other minty scents or added essential oils like peppermint are great to stimulate and soothe the scalp. Some are even anti-fungal. They can be added to your hair products, oils or directly to the scalp. 2. Massage your scalp with your fingers, a massager or scalp stimulator. Bend your head downwards to increase blood flow which helps with hair growth. 3. Try a clay mask like Aztec once a month to really deep cleanse your scalp. 4. Don’t shampoo too often and strip your hair natural oils. Try a cowash from time to time instead. Lastly, realize that some issues need medical attention. I tried everything under the son when my scalp started acting up in Jamaica 🇯🇲 and spread to my skin.
