That- That can’t be who he thinks it is, right? 

Bendy blinks his eyes - even closing them and rubbing them with his hands and stares in the direction of the mouse. That can’t be the mouse, can it? Who’d had ever thought that he’d end up here, of all places! Well, he supposed he shouldn’t be too surprised. Besides, Goofy was here, too - he was one of the last folks he’d ever be expecting to see in this hell hole of a place.

He doesn’t realize that he’s been standing there, staring in awe in the direction of the oh-so familiar toon until they lock eyes and he can tell there’s a sense of discomfort in the air. Right. Staring isn’t nice. 

It’s rude. 

“Well, well- lookie at what the cat’s dragged in!”
