Suga snickered and batted at Oikawa’s shoulder. He rolled his eyes and pecked his forehead lightly.

“You wanna get some water and move into my room? Mine is the second coolest in the house, right after the kitchen, but I don’t know that you’d want to cuddle in the kitchen. Or maybe you would, I don’t know. You’re a strange guy.”

“Okay, okay, you big whiny baby. C’mere.”

Suga extended his arms and wrapped them around the brunet in a warm hug. It was early afternoon - just after lunch time - and a hot, lazy day. It was honestly too muggy to go outside, so Suga was perfectly happy having the other over for the day. Maybe they could go nap in the other room, taking advantage of the glorious air conditioning.

“He’s not going to do anything, Oikawa, please-” Asahi tried to reassure him, knowing the other tended to get a little protective at times but this wasn’t one of those, Daichi was no harm to either of them. But it was the other werewolf he was currently trying to convince, he hadn’t expected the other to come home so early of course and hadn’t expected him to pull a gun on him-

He also should’ve probably warned him ahead of time that he lived with hunters, of course, but he trusted them. They actually helped keep the others from discovering him, from trying to come after him, but he hadn’t been entirely sure how to tell them that there was another werewolf in the area, not sure how they’d react to Asahi getting close to him, they worried too much. He sighed, giving Daichi a reassuring look before he tugged Oikawa up to his room instead, trying to get him to relax.

{same though. Annoys me especially when people buy pets for their young children who become disinterested because they didn't care in the first place or the animal was unsuitable. One of my ferrets was originally bought for a 3 year old who's mother gave us the animal after the kid had been poking her around too much and ended up being nipped. She's the loveliest little thing now though, glad I have her. }

Asahi had been fairly certain that the other werewolf was asleep, at least he had been when he’d gotten up a little while ago. He’d just been too restless himself to fall asleep, he’d been trying for several hours and he’d worried about waking him up so he’d figured it’d be best if he got up and let him sleep, settled for laying on the couch instead.

What he hadn’t expected was that Oikawa would notice that he was gone, would come looking for him, and he gave him a rather sheepish smile when he came over.

Asahi had been half-napping on Oikawa’s couch, having come over since the full moon was getting close and he had figured maybe it would be better for him to spend it over at the other werewolf’s house, try to get more comfortable with it. But he was still worried, of course, he’d made himself anxious just thinking about the fact that he’d have to turn again.

But it was a little easier being with someone else, and Oikawa had been actually helping him out a lot, he’d even shifted outside the cycle a couple of times by now. Still, he was restless, mostly just waiting for the sun to go down so he could get this over with-

He didn’t notice that Oikawa had come over, or that he’d sat down beside him, but his eyes did fly open when he felt the kiss to his nose, a light flush dusting hi cheeks.
