PREVIOUS ā ACT I, CHAPTER TWO ā MASTERLIST ā NEXT
Okay, so fast forward. It was now May 25th, and you all had been trying to find a secret base, which was very, very, very difficult to figure out. Otto had said, "Let's try to find a warehouse," and now you were all doing that like you were apartment hunting. And it was night, and you all were on summer break, and you were all sitting around in Felicia's room with newspapers out. Max was at the computer in her room, typing up notes on abandoned warehouse locations. Then he paused, finding something important. He got so cheery, too, "Guys! I found a place!" he hollered. You all looked over and got up, running over to him. The warehouse was pretty new, too.
"Okay, Otto, are you thinking what I'm thinking?" you asked. He looked at you with that bright ass smile. "YES, ABSOLUTELY YES," he squealed like that one little girl with a unicorn stuffed toy in 'Despicable Me'. You all looked at each other, nodding, as it seemed like you had found your new hideout. So you all got ready and dressed in hoodies, as Otto just put on something on his back, and four tentacles came out from the thing, and he just grabbed his science stuff with them, and he told you to grab things, which you grabbed the heavier load for the whole thing, as everyone else carried less heavy things. Then you guys all set out walking through the streets holding heavy science things as if you were going to a science convention, which, yes, you got some looks, but to be genuinely honest, you all could take care of yourselves even if it didn't look like it at all.
When you all got to the place, you kicked the door open, and the door fell off pretty quickly. Felicia gave you a look, but Otto looked like a happy child, whoo, making new doors so fun⦠You all looked around the place, and you set everything down. Felicia gave you a list, and you groaned, putting your new mask on, which Otto made for you. The outfit was still in progress, though, so you guys just put a pause on that whole thing. You walked out of the building, letting everyone else take care of Otto's heavy, heavy stuff for engineeringā Max was looking for the blueprints of the place, so not everyone was helping out with Otto's stuff. you walked out of the place and swung back to Otto's home and grabbed anything you can think of like excess parts for his work and what not, then you swung back putting them down just inside the entrance and you swung over to many their homes to grab some of their stuff because the plan was to make it look like a hangout spot while on the inside there was more to it.
When you got back the last time for grabbing their things, you saw that everyone was gone and Otto's stuff was gone, which made you panic tenfold, where in the heck, heck were they??????? you looked around everywhere for them but you couldn't find them, then you heard something from the main room which made you sprint over there, when you saw them in an elevator that went down to a lower level it made you let out a sigh of relief you ran over to them and hugged them "you dumb-ass idiots! I couldn't freaking find you and you all like scared me by a ton!" you yelled, which they shyly smiled and pulled you into the elevator going back down to the area they were in when you got there it had the smell of what it used to be used for when in was in the black mask's hands. So that was that, you helped them move things, and you saw a basketball court in there for some unknown reason that you didn't want to even attempt to figure out why it was there yet, dang did the black mask like basketball? huh⦠finding out so much it seemsā¦
Anyway, you all just continued to fix things up and sort everything out and made places and labeled what would be what (when you had enough funds for something like that). "You know why you don't ask Bruce for money for this?" Felicia asked suddenly, you looked at her like she said some of the most insane things in the whole world. "dude, that'd be freaking stupid, are you INSANE?? I am not going to make Bruce think my friendship with Jason is all a BIG LIE." you yelped, Felicia looked at you like you grew a second head. "dudeā¦. just go to Jason's grave and ask him maybe he'll give you a sign in ghost form to do it or not to ask Bruce for money." she said simply, okay now that was even more insane because heck nahā
Okay, you said no, but here you were with all your friends at Jason's grave as you were forced to do so. "Okay, so Jason, remember when I told you I got powers from a spider bite? Yeah, I'm doing vigilante stuff now and we need money for this and Felicia said that we need money and funding for this but we are BROKE and have absolutely no money for something like this so please and thank you send a sign for if I should beg Bruce for money like the beggar I am at this point or should we take it and have Felicia become a mini Catwoman? Okay, thank you for listening, and peace out and goodbye. I just need an answer on this whole thing!" you chirped before turning around and walking your happy ass away with all of your friends!
when you got back to the place you all just waited for Otto to get done with the doors and what not, and currently you were all sitting in a circle thinking for a long moment, "what should the team roles be?" you suddenly asked, they all looked at you taking a moment to think, "I can be the guy in the chair" both Max and Dmitri said, Eugene stayed quiet possibly unsure of what he should do. "well.. Eugene, you could change the whole⦠reputation for that frog costume your father left you," you hummed, looking at your friend, which seemed to cheer up more with that. "I can get some of the funding we need!" Felicia chirped, then they looked at you, "she's obviously going to be the muscle of the group and like the main fighter, and.. Otto is obviously going to be the one who makes us things to operate safely without our identities being leaked." Max said, smiling at you guys. You all nodded and ran to the elevator to tell Otto the good news.
A few hours later, you got the door replaced, and it had a special advanced tech lock or whatever, which you all had your eyes scanned and in your mask, there was a special thing he had put into the lenses, a very complicated code was there that the pad would recognize.
a few weeks later you guys were operating all fine and dandy, costumes were all created and your costume was made with excess red fabric you all had, the best you could make out of it was a leotard and gloves, otherwise the rest was smashed up together, you decided to wear the old jacket that Jason gave you, it had his name on the tag so you just were more protective over the jacket during fights you got into, then you just had some sweat pants on and some dirty sneakers that Otto had fixed up to make it better and more durable like a titanium toe thing.
He also made you web swingers, but he also didn't exactly know what to call them; they were just made for more precision in webs. Also, you had a thigh bag or something which held smoke bombs, and on the waistline of your pants held other weapons for a last option thing.
Felicia was the money grabber she did things like Catwoman but they were targeted to rich people who had too much money, Bruce Wayne was a no-go though because you had told her the security systems there are crazy, crazy, and what not, yet he also was a no-go because that was your late best friends adoptive father and it felt horrible to steal from him because he was actually trying to help people unlike many other aristocrats. So she did steal from the rich, who were horrible people and people who didn't deserve the money. Bruce was safe this time around⦠Felicia also stayed near Eugene when she wasn't stealing because he was still learning the whole vigilante gig. You also worked near him at times.
Eugene had gotten a title very quickly in his hero costume; he went by: "Frog-Man" with a hyphen in the middle. Do NOT forget the hyphen. Unlike you, he wasn't ready to fight bigger groups of gangs. He wasn't really jealous of you, but there were times he just wished and dreamed he was strong enough to go after guys bigger than him, like you, but he understood why you took on bigger groups, why you were the muscle in the group. After all, you were more durable in the first place, you had super strength, had a spider-sense, which Otto tested on a little too much, and you were more flexible, too. But also, he was really glad to be helping people, something his dad had never done. He was happy to make a difference; he was really happy to be working with you, too! out and about. Working as a team was the thing that made him the happiest.
Max was the man in the chair most of the time, he didn't want to go out to fight plus him and Dmitri were technically the leader of the group but it always mattered on who was in the chair and who was available, Dmitri went out to help You, Felicia, and Eugene half the time, plus Dmitri was the man who gathered up information that Max couldn't snag or find. So Dmitri was the on-foot info gatherer as Max was usually the home base worker, after all, Max was already very tech savvy, more tech savvy than Dmitri, which Dmitri knew how to talk and how to act like someone. The two worked intertwined in the world of informants, or the guy in the chair on foot, or the one actually in the chair.
Otto loved his job in the team, Felicia stole scraps and metal for him so he could work also there was a lot of things he could work on, he worked on defense and how to make really good firewalls that were basically unsolvable, he loved to create tech and he had to have his own room in the underground workings of the team. and he noticed everything if something went wrong then he'd have to fix it like since Frog-Man or Eugene was still starting he got things messed up the most, Felicia? she was fine in general but at times her tech messed up which meant more fixing, you? Well, he knew you'd be fine no matter what. Like if those web slingers messed up, then that'd be on him. Who cared if that stuff broke? If it broke, then he'd get to make more adjustments, that's the lucky part for him. he got to tinker with more and more things. That team was his heaven at this point. Were things breaking? Oh, he'd fix it and make changes! No biggie. Overall, he was just someone who absolutely adored creating and fixing things, if you couldn't tell.
currently while you were on a stake out talking to everyone through the comm link, you glanced at a screen in the city and sighed seeing J. Jonah Jameson, the sound of his yammering was going through one ear and out the other. "guys, our favorite show is on." you hummed standing up, "YEEESSS, PLAY IT MAX RIGHT NOW" you winced hearing Otto scream.
"OTTO, WHY?" Felicia yelped.
"I was just getting my jump right tooā¦" Eugene trailed off.
"I swear to GOD if you do that ever again, I'm running from post just to return to that warehouse to HIT you," Dmitri said very dead serious on this whole thing.
"Guys, guys, shut it. I'm going to play J. Jonah Jameson complain about every superhero in existence." Max shushed everyone, who smiled and tapped the comm to make it shut up, so you didn't need them to hear any quiet mumbling you did because you spoke to yourself a lot.
you yelped a little bit once seeing the one and only man from Gotham right behind you not expecting to see the Batman right behind you it was just simply a shock to see him come around for no apparent reason. "you are Web-Spinner right?" he asked, he was very calm well it wasn't like you were going to fight him right then and now that was simply just stupid and you weren't like that. keeping calm, you nodded, keeping your tone calm, "yeah⦠that's me, need anything?" you hummed, trying to stay upbeat, well, you knew super-human people or meta's weren't allowed in Gotham, and you understood that rule really well, it was just a little unsettling to see the big man of Gotham there in front of you. Yet you weren't scared, you'd just rest your case, and hopefully he'd allow you and your friends to keep operating in Gotham. "What are your powers? And why exactly are you operating here?" Batman asked in a very interrogative tone, "Well, I can do everything a spider can do.. There's a spider sense or whatever, and I have super strength, along with crazy durability, the web slinging thing can speak for itself⦠and I just want to help people. I've looked up to you and Robin for a long time," you hummed shyly.
he nodded thinking about it for a minute, "me and my friends are just starting and we don't have enough funding for it but⦠we are trying to continue." he looked pensive at what you told him, he thought about it a little more before interrogating you some more which you nodded a-long he placed a device in your hands and nodded at you, it seemed he was reluctantly letting you continue with the whole thing, a big part of you was very thankful that he let you continue with your business, "I will keep tabs on you." he said bluntly before disappearing right before your very eyes.
"Thank you!" you said to space, letting out a breath you didn't remember holding. The whole thing was a relief, but it seemed he saw that you absolutely meant every word you had told him, but he said he'd be keeping an eye on you for the time being until he was sure you weren't a threat to anyone around you. which you were very, very thankful for.
You put the thing Batman gave you into your pocket, then you just left your post and swung around following the penguins' goons because Max told you where to go. damn being good with the whole area and basically the whole cit,y this whole vigilante thing is really nice when you know exactly where you are going, you lightly landed on the ledge of a building glancing around the area then you looked back In-front of you watching the penguins goons for a moment longer before you hopped down onto the fire escape bending down to make sure you'd be unnoticeable. You heard J. Jonah Jameson talking about how you were a menace,e and you saw the goons watching the news, "damn, but that Web-Spinner lady is fine.." one said. You heard Max quit typing, pausing, then he burst out laughing, "What happened??"You heard Felicia ask very rushed, as she was probably stashing things into her bag. "Yeah, what happened?" Eugene then asked, double concerned about what was happening. while he was fighting some guy,s trying to keep it under control. Surprisingly, Dmitri said nothing; that became very obvious in what he was doing.
One of penguins goons said that Web-Spinner is fineā BAAHHAHAHHA" Max cackled. you just sighed staring into space before hopping back onto the ledge and standing there, you removed your fingers from your comm device and you looked down at them "huh, so that's what you think about the 'spider-menace' well, that's a weird thing to say about a minor you know that right?" you hummed, jumping down from your spot before webbing them up and sticking them to a wall. "there. hope its nice and comfy," you said, webbing their mouth up, walking to the building, you tapped on the wrist cuff that Otto had made, and a small spider module hopped out from it, and it stuck to the lock, and it burned it open, then it jumped back to your hand and attached itself back to the wrist cuff thing. You then walked inside the building yourself, which was not good. Looking back at the group talking, you swung quietly, looking down above the group, where on one side there was the penguin and his goons, then the other⦠You didn't know the other group, so you just tapped on the wrist cuff and started recording the audio, and it automatically let Max get on in to take clips of the people talking.
"Well, this is business, the spider-brat here is a clever sneaky littleā¦" the penguin said. You sighed, looking down, and you saw a pair of eyes glance up at you, which made you pause. The guy made a small movement in order to let you know he was on your side. thinking for a moment, you perked up, it was Dmitri! You lifted your mask to show your mouth. 'Who?' you mouthed out to him. He slightly shook his head. You sighed and leaned back, glancing around the room a bit more. You saw a perfect hiding spot, and you swung there, when a woman made eye contact with you. She smirked at you, but she didn't blow your cover. She just looked back at the Penguin and spoke to him some more to distract him more easily.
At some point, she left, and you struck, you webbed them all up, except for Dmitri, who just joined you in the fight, then Cobblepot ran, which you were very shocked by how fast he took a break for it. You never knew he could ever run that fast⦠thought that stubby man would be able to run period. Well, there are many shocks today, it seems. Dmitri and you both looked at each other, exchanging looks.
You both just decided to let him run, then you both walked out the door. When you got out, you saw the woman from before; she was pretty. She had green eyes, long dark brown hair, her skin was tanned, and she looked like someone who knew how to fight better than you. "hi..?" you started Dmitri right behind you, the woman looked at the people with her and she nodded her head at them telling them to go, "we have a car, it might be more better to speak there with you so there's no peeping." she hummed walking out of the alley giving you and Dmitri a look as if you'd go with herā
In the car, you sat across from her, Dmitri right next to you, both of you just watching her movements. "So why did you want to talk to us in here?" Dmitri asked, the woman kept on staring at the both of you a smile on her face. "well, originally it was meant to only be a conversation with your spider friend but it seems the both of you are working together so why not talk to the both of you?" she hummed, you stared in silence thinking about what to say because at the moment you were just very uncertain on what was going on. "what's your name, if you don't mind me asking?" you reluctantly asked, she smiled at you her gaze directly was lying on your mask. "there's no need to cover yourself up I wont tell the league who you are if that makes you both feel more at ease. I'm Talia Ah Ghul. It's nice to meet you both." Talia hummed.
You still didn't take off the mask. "Well, I wanted to inform you about the League of Assassins because you're new to this whole thing, and this information may help you stay careful in the future. Now, I would love to ask you to join the league, but it's not something I wish to focus on. Becoming friendly with you and your team." She smiled, you squinted at her, very un-trusting, not because of anything bad, bad, it's just Gotham being Gotham, it was hard to trust. She did continue to speak with you and Dmitri further along. "We all don't exactly have names for ourselves yetā" Dmitri started.
"Call yourself Chameleon," Talia said, immediately looking at both of you.
"huh??" Dmitri started.
"Ohhhh, I get it! because he changes like a Chameleonā¦" you murmured. Dmitri gave you a look that made Talia smile.
After a bit longer, you both got ready to leave, but Talia stared at you and handed you a paper, "This is from someone who cares about you a lot. He's in a vegetative state right now, but I'm trying to fix it. I can't tell you who, but he thinks about you a lot. I would love to take you to see him, I really would, but it's just not possible right now," she whispered, making sure you were the only one to hear the words.
"Please keep this a secret and don't read it until he's able to come and see you," she added before letting you go.
You put the note in the pocket of your jacket, Dmitri climbed up onto your back, and you just started swinging away. What did she mean by that? By that look in her eyes, you could see that she thought she had told you too much to begin with. But she kept on going like you and someone else deserved to know about something specific.
when you got back to the warehouse you unlocked the door and walked on inside the place, Dmitri followed you inside and he ran to the kitchen that had been there always, you went into the room you had in there, which you and everyone else had rooms in that warehouse, there were enough rooms for such so you never minded, you slumped into the bed that Felicia had helped wrack up the money to get, this whole thing felt odd.
Meanwhile
Talia sat in the car, rubbing her temple. She said too much to that girl; she knew she did. But she wanted to follow her heart, to let that girl know that the boy she liked so much was alive and missed her so much, even when he didn't show it or say a thing.
welp, she could play it safe and let Jason think she didn't go to Gotham, but also Jason was a husk of himself, so it didn't really matter if he did know or didn't know. She sighed, thinking about the whole thing a bit longer. No, that girl may be too shocked by her words to even figure it out, even though the words were quite blunt in a way. She groaned again, knowing she'd have to help him get back into his right mind. She already had an idea of what was to happen; he'll be back home at some point sooner or later.
When you walked back out of your room, you padded down the stairs softly. The letter was unopened; you had hidden it in the secret compartment in the dresser you had inside the closet, which used to be stashed with God knows what. When you walked down to the main area, there was Felicia on a beanbag with everyone else slumped down, very worn out from what you could tell.
"hey," you hummed sitting down on the couch next to Otto, he pat your leg tiredly, Felicia looked up at you and she smiled, "hey spidey, need anything." she hummed, you looked at all of them, "we need like vigilante work names or whatever. me and Eugene have one but not you guys." you said bluntly, Otto lifted up his head, Dmitri nodded, Felicia, and then Max also nodded. "okay Felicia you first, we all know you'd like to be like Catwoman how about we delve into that and do something around cats." you suggested, she thought about it for a moment, "do Black Cat, that's like the easiest thing because your outfit is made to be like a black cat so you'd be less noticeable," Otto said, You looked at Felicia, watching her face and how she'd react to being suggested that name.
"Huh, works for me," she hummed, smiling, so you wrote it down on the vigilante name's list, and there was a small mini doodle you put for everyone. "Chameleon works for me," Dmitri said, smiling, so he was then put on the list.
Otto was thinking, "You have tech arms that look like an octopus's, and your last name fits that 'Octavius', so why not move somewhere near that area?" You hummed, looking at Otto, his brain was wracking for ideas, mainly because it had been a long day, and thinking was difficult at the moment. "I GOT IT" he hollered smiling, "Doc Ock!" he yelled, jumping up then running around the room happily, you then wrote his chosen name for this stuff all together, then you all looked at Max, "what do you want as a code name Max?" you asked, he shrugged so you sighed and thought about it, "hrmmmm, we need some more development for that right now huh?" Felicia asked.
"Yeah, I think so.." he murmured. Otto looked back at him, and he saw something on his phone which made him light up, "How about electro for now?" Otto asked, which made Max nod, "Yeah, I'd like that." Max hummed, so then he was written down as electro, which then you put on the fridge, then you all watched a movie, and passed out.
When morning came, you had to go back home. Aunt May was making breakfast as you and Ben helped, "Sorry for being out and about more." You apologized. He looked at you and smiled softly, "You don't need to worry, kid, I know you're stronger than anyone would think," he hummed. You looked at him while getting all the ingredients into the bowl. Aunt may excuse herself so she can go grab a few things.
"plus its good you're being so independent, there'll be a time without your aunt around and me to help you, plus I'm not worrying that much about you because you always come back home unharmed. plus you doing what you do is basically a job." he said, you felt your hands get sweaty and everything got dizzy, "whaā what are you talking about?" your voice cracked, he looked back at you, and laughed. "kid, you shouldn't worry so much, plus its easy to tell since I know you, I know that jacket, everyone else might not know but whenever you go out to fight you've always had that jacket. āIt brings good luck,ā that's what you've said over and over again," he smiled.
"I'm proud of you for doing the right thing and helping this city get better," he added. You looked back down, you swallowed your spit back down, and looked at him. "So I can keep doing this whole vigilante thing?" you asked reluctantly. He let out a loud laugh and hit your back. "I'm not going to stop you from doing so, kid, you made that choice, but all I can tell you is that you need to be very, very careful, you and your friends. After all, with great power comes great responsibility, and your responsibilities lie with the city now, don't you think?" he smiled.
"you should tell your aunt on your own at some point." he told you softly, it just brought lots of comfort that he wasn't upset with you like at all, "you're doing the right thing kid, I just hope you wont change your mind and kill anyone no matter how much of a bad person they are, you should just leave that to authorities or what happens to some because of those choices," he murmured.
You smiled and nodded, pulling him into a hug as fast as you could. It was nice that he had your back in this whole thing.
"You're a great kid. Always remember that," he patted your head happily as you couldn't help but cry. Oh, how you love your uncle! It would be very horrible if he were to die, as if that'd happen.
After like a few weeks, there was a party going on, and you all had been invited. You and Felicia were walking around the mall. Uncle Ben had dropped both of you off that day, and he had went inside the building with you both, too, he just ran off to go find a bathroom, so you and Felicia just kept on browsing. You had a hand on your chin as you kept on walking through items, "Okay, this actually depends on what vibe we wish to go for, you know?" she asked, looking back at you, who just kept following her.
"I think we'd have a better time looking for cute things at a thrift store," you said bluntly. She gave you a look. "[Name], are you KIDDING ME?? These places haveā¦" She picked up a dress that looked⦠interesting. "Somethingā¦" she said, nodding her head.
"dude, we'd have a better time if we were to look in a thrift store I rest my case." you sighed softly, she glared at you again. "we are doing no such thing we must let these⦠places have a chance." she added, you in reply gave her a look, she groaned in response, "okay, okay these places aren't that greatā¦" she sighed in defeat.
"yet, we shouldn't give up on these stores it can at least have one good thing." she then said, you looked at her and then groaned but you still decided to follow her, while walking around the shop you both found some outfits that looked cute, yet you'd rather find some outfits in a thrift store or you'd rather sew it up yourself, not a big deal just preference, "Felicia we are not Bruce Wayne we don't have enough money for all of this," you said, she looked back at you again, truthfully you didn't mind this whole thing, it was just it was a long night of running around and then right thing in the morning she woke you up and said that you both needed to go shopping for that party basically everyone and their mother got invited to.
Plus, you'd have to convince everyone else later, so that's a future problem basically. No biggie, you perked up once you heard Uncle Ben calling out for you two. You grabbed Felicia's arm and ran over to him. Felicia then pulled both of you to the dressing room, asking for a key happily. When she shoved you into a room, you just sighed and started putting things on. Option number one was the only one you picked out. Sad? Yeah, but that one was the only one you liked. it was very huggy to you, it was nice and you just knew with how the dress was then you'd have to go steal a jacket of Jason's jacket's from Wayne Manor. You were still openly welcomed to that place, so you didn't mind; those bundles of jackets he had still most definitely smelled like him, plus he loved to give you his jackets for some reason.
It was sweet, like really sweet. Groaning, you pulled out your phone, typing in Bruce's number. How did you know it? It's better not to ask questionsā you got his number at Jason's funeral, and he said to call him if you were ever to visit the Manor.
See? very simple reason.
You let it ring for a bit longer, as you decided to pace around panicking over what could happen, the worst that would happen would be if he piā
"Hello?" you heard from the phone, you felt your soul leave your body so fast, this was one of the most unbelievable things to ever happen to you. "Uh, hey, it's me [Name], and I was wondering if I could come over and borrow a jacket of.. Jason's" you started to talk, you heard him hum on the other end, "my friend may be forced to tag along since my uncle has been driving us around to shop and whatnot," you added.
"Alright, you are welcome to come around, you don't have to explain yourself," he responded, there was a small smile in his voice.
when Uncle Ben drove you guys to the manor he typed in the code because he had to know it since back then he drove you and Jason everywhere, when inside the whole area you got out of the car Felicia was right behind you looking so happy and shocked at the same time, which you understood because its not every day you see the manor unless you live there or if a party is being hosted there for aristocrats. "stay normal Felicia." you told her, she nodded in reply super duper happy about seeing this place for the first time, uncle ben followed behind, his steps were slower .
You then knocked on the door, Alfred opened the door, "Hey Alfred, you already know Uncle Ben, but this right here is Felicia shes a friend of mine." You introduced them with a very nervous smile, Alfred smiled and let you guys inside the Manor. You thanked Alfred a lot before leading Felicia around the whole place; she was in awe at the whole place, not touching a thing at all. When you got to Jason's room, you opened the door and poked your head in, then you walked into the room. Felicia then took a step inside, and you placed a book on his desk. When you walked to the closet, you picked up a jacket and held it close. You were right. It still smelled like him somehow, but you weren't going to question it right now. You shut the closet door quietly, and when you walked back out of the room, Felicia walked out with you. When you both got to the main area, Dick was there chatting with Ben. "Hey, Dick, this is Felicia. Felicia, this is Dick, but if you don't want to call him that, then call him Richard." You hummed.
"Hey, [Name], how are you doing?" he hummed. He seemed a little sad at seeing you. He was probably thinking about how you and Jason were when he was⦠"I'm doing fine, what about you? also wheres Bruce?" you asked. Dick smiled and got a little quiet.
"I'm doing well, Bruce is working right now," Dick responded, his smile returning.
You guys stayed for a little while longer before needing to go. Once you got back home, you put the jacket on your bed before walking out, shutting the door behind you. Felicia was waiting there for you. she smiled softly and grabbed your hand, "come on lets go grab everyone else." Felicia said softly, you nodded and followed her out of the place while Uncle Ben walked off to take a nap since he was getting older and older. Aunt May was the one who could get up and run around more than Uncle Ben, but bills weren't a big worry because of Bruce helping you stay afloat.
You both walked out the door, walking over to the warehouse, since that was the only place you could remember having a call button for everyone, so it was easier to call everyone to the building. When you clicked the button, it took like a few minutes, and everyone got there. "What is it?" Max asked, Felicia smiled and pulled a mini confetti cannon from her pocket, she forced you to do a small drumroll. "There's a party tomorrow, and you'd better all come because it won't be fun without you all!" she smiled, pulling the string on the small cannon, and it made a loud 'POP'. They all looked at each other and agreed on the whole thing with surprisingly little convincing.
"Huh, you guys just accepted itā¦" You and Felicia murmured together.
"Well, yeah, why would we not? We all need a break, don't we?" Eugene asked, Otto smiled and gave a thumbs up, "Yeah, we do need a break." Dmitri agreed.
"Dang," you hummed.
when a day passed it was dark out and you got on the outfit and grabbed the borrowed jacket and put it on, then you got some heels on then you walked into the bathroom and grabbed the makeup you had and put them on, getting you hair all done and set up letting out a long sigh you walked out of the bathroom to get to the front of the house since your friends were there to pick you up for the whole party thing. You made sure to hug Aunt May and Uncle Ben goodbye before leaving to go. "Stay safe [Name], and do not drink anything, and do not take anything they'd have there!" Aunt May called out while you were walking down the steps.
"They grow up so fast, huh?" she murmured to Uncle Ben, watching you go run to Max's car. You opened the door to get into the back seat with Felicia, Eugene, and Dmitri, which would be cramped, but that was fine, might as well learn to deal with it for future reference. When you sat in the car, you were basically sitting on Dmitri's lap, but he didn't seem to care that much. Since it was fine and no one could control being forced to sit in a crammed car. When you all got to the place, you hopped out first, ready to get inside. Then the rest flooded out, you shut the door to the car as Max locked the car, "this would've been faster for you on webs, I hope you know that [Name]" Felicia said bluntly, you in response shrugged.
"Going places by car is way more fun," you chirped, before moving to walk into the yard. Getting to the door, you opened it because, of course, it'd be unlocked. When you walked into the building, the whole place was crowded, which was fine; it was no biggie.
While walking into the place, you tried to find something at least somewhat fun. which was hard when all of these people were most definitely on something, no matter consumed on puffed in, welp, at least you had grabbed Jason's jacket from the manor because it would make it seem like you had a boyfriend. In reality, you were more single than someone single could ever be. Oh goodness, it would be great if he were still alive to this day, but he, in fact, wasn't. A big part of you always wondered how things would be if Jason were still alive. Would you both be dating? Would you both just be friends and whatnot? Would you have met Max, Otto, Dmitri, Felicia, and Eugene? Or would Jason be your only friend? You knew that wasn't the case, though; you knew better than thinking like that. You would've still met your current friends, maybe in a less sad way, but it was still something.
letting out a sigh you went over to go to the main dancing area, which you were having fun and all until you needed to go to the bathroom so you walked up the stairs to find a bathroom but you saw a guy picking on some girl who had light hair and amber eyes, she seemed like a bookworm which was no problem with you, walking over you pulled the guy away from her and got in between the two, "Flash, quit it." you told him with a very bland tone of voice, flash did bully you but it was really rare for him to talk back to you now, which a little someone had certified beef with flash and bullied him right back.
the girl looked at you like you were her savior, after a bit of bickering with Flash he finally left, you just sighed and walked to the bathroom, your spider sense tingling which you looked behind you and that girl was following you with a big smile on her face, "uh⦠why are you looking at me like that?" you asked very concerned on why she was staring at you like you were her lord and saviorā which you WERE NOT. "thank you so, so, so much [Name] Parker!!" she smiled, what. the. f*ck. you looked her up and down not in a mean way but like in a 'what the f*ck' way because there is absolutely NO WAY she called you by your first name and last name.
"I'm Hazel Osborn!" she said cheerfully, oh, now you know her name⦠oh, no. You just ran into the bathroom and shut and locked the door sitting down on the toilet seat as you just let yourself live the relief of taking a piss.
Great day, great times to pee..
Okay now you just thought about that whole situation deeply, your spider sense tingled for a reason did it not? This was something you weren't going to ignore. Your spider sense had helped you many times and it remains to help you more and more, ignoring it would be like ignoring your gut feeling and walking right into dangerā no, it'd be exactly that.
She was untrustworthy. And she knew your name which was odd because no one's school exactly knew your first name and last name togetherā you were in a first name basis with everyone. Your last name just had never been mentioned that much. when you opened the door, you walked right out and went to go find Felicia, your spider sense aware of everything as you walked around the whole place.
once you found Felicia she was dancing and you just decided to join her in order to have fun and to hopefully calm your nerves.
a big part of you felt like something was wrong with that Hazel girl or something, but you didn't really know her so it was wrong to think something like that without reason⦠still everything felt⦠wrong.

Iāve always wanted to see an interaction between an Asgardian and a grounded Midgard villaināa street thug, a mobster, or anyone used to solving problems with guns, knives, and bombsāonly to discover theyāre facing someone who simply canāt be killed.
Asgardians look human, blending in easily among the Nordic people, and both Thor/Loki/Odin and Elliot Randolph (AOS) have been shown to put on disguises to hide in plain sight on earth. While they arenāt immortal, no ordinary human weapon or strength has ever been enough to truly harm one. It makes me wonder how fascinating it would be if a villain from Marvelās more grounded stories unknowingly picked a fight with an Asgardian living in disguise.
you patch me up, and i leave another corpse on your conscience...
Drabble Prompt ~ He kisses you with the same mouth that orders executions. You pretend his warmth isnāt comforting.
Warning: Violence, Blood, Manipulation, Toxic Relationship, Power Imbalance, Addiction
The clinic was quieter than usual when he arrived, the only sound being the sharp rhythm of his breath as he staggered through the door, his body leaning heavily against the frame. His once-pristine clothes were torn and soaked through with blood, and his movements were slower, more deliberate. You looked up from the table where you had been cleaning your instruments, the sight of him sending a jolt of unease through your chest.
"Silco..." you whispered, rising from your seat. Your heart skipped as you took in the state of him. His breath was shallow, and his usually composed demeanor had been shattered, now replaced with something that resembled exhaustion, maybe even regret, though heād never admit it.
He didnāt respond, only nodded toward the nearest cot and made his way there, clearly struggling to maintain control of his body. You could see it in the way his hands trembled, a hint of vulnerability breaking through his unyielding exterior.
"What happened?" you asked, trying to keep your voice steady, but the fear in your chest was suffocating. The last time he had been this bad, heād been in the aftermath of a conflict with a rival gang. And this time, it was worse.
"They thought they could take control," he muttered, the words tinged with that familiar mix of anger and cold calculation. "Finnās people... They thought they could strike when we were weak. They were wrong."
You could hear the quiet fury in his voice. He was a tyrant, he knew it, embraced it, but this? This was different. There was something in his words that made the hair on the back of your neck stand up. His fight with Finnās faction wasnāt just another power struggle - it was something more personal. And the blood soaking through his clothes was proof enough.
"Sit down, Silco," you urged, forcing yourself to remain calm as you moved to tend to him. "Let me see to your wounds."
His eyes darkened, and for a brief moment, you saw something flicker in his gaze, a rawness, a brief crack in the armor of the ruthless leader. "You patch me up, and I leave another corpse on your conscience," he said quietly, the words carrying a weight that made your heart ache.
You tried not to react, but the statement hit you like a gut punch. His wars, his battles, they always bled into your world. You healed his men, healed him, but at the same time, you knew you were complicit in the destruction he caused. Every life lost in the wake of his ambition, every man or woman who fell because of him, was a piece of you, too.
You fought to keep your voice steady. "Iām not doing this because I agree with your choices. Iām doing it because I care about you." But even as you said the words, you felt the truth of it slowly suffocate in your chest. Caring for him meant witnessing the bloodshed, the cruelty, and the destruction.
He settled down on the cot, eyes locked on you as you worked. You carefully began to remove his blood-soaked clothing, wincing at the severity of the wounds. He didnāt flinch at your touch. He never did. He was too hardened, too used to the violence that coursed through him.
The sound of your breath was louder than it should have been as you cleaned his wounds, your hands working fast and methodical, trying not to let the fear twist your stomach. The smell of blood, sweat, and smoke filled the air, and you could almost hear the screams of those he had put down, of the lives lost in his unyielding pursuit of power.
"You think Iām the monster, donāt you?" His voice broke through the haze of your thoughts, a bitter edge creeping in.
You hesitated. You wanted to say no, to deny the accusation, but the truth was, you couldnāt. Silco had become the very thing you despised. A monster who destroyed everything in his path, no matter the cost. A man who had built his empire on the bones of his enemies, his allies, and those who had fallen in his wake.
"How many?" you asked softly, your voice shaking. "How many lives did you take today, Silco?"
He didnāt answer at first. Instead, he looked away, the guilt of his actions weighing heavily on him, a brief flicker of remorse in his eyes before he masked it with his usual coldness.
"I do what I have to do," he muttered finally, though there was no conviction in his words. "They attacked my territory. They wanted control. I couldnāt let them."
You finished cleaning the wound, pressing a fresh bandage against his side, but the words hung between you. You understood what he meant. He had to protect what was his, protect his power. But there was something about today that felt different. This rebellion wasnāt just an attempt on his throne, it was personal. Heād been forced to destroy people who had once been close to him. Finnās betrayal had cut deep, and it showed in the way his body shook with every breath.
And as you worked, you realized something deeper. This was more than just a man who sought power. This was a man drowning in his own choices, struggling to hold on to the only thing that kept him from completely unraveling: you.
"Donāt you see?" you whispered, your voice breaking as you placed a gentle kiss on his forehead, your fingers brushing his cheek. "You leave a body every time you pull the trigger. Every time you make a choice, itās another corpse on my conscience."
He pulled you close then, his breath ragged as he kissed you, a brutal, desperate kiss that tasted of blood and tears. When he pulled away, his voice was hoarse, raw. "Iām sorry," he whispered, the words almost lost against your skin. "But I canāt stop."
You closed your eyes, letting the warmth of his touch wash over you, even though you knew what it meant. His need for you was as addictive as the shimmer that had once consumed himāhe was no longer just fighting for control of the undercity. He was fighting to keep you from slipping away, even if it meant losing himself in the process.
But his lips are on yours before you can voice your doubts. The kiss is harsh, demanding, but thereās something desperate in it, too. He pulls you closer, his body pressing against yours, as if trying to bury himself inside of you, seeking solace in something he doesnāt understand.
He looks at you with a mix of desperation and longing, his eyes haunted by the ghosts of his past. "I need this," he whispered, his voice cracking. "I need you."
He pushes you back onto the bed, his body covering yours, his weight pressing you into the mattress. You could feel his hardness through his pants, pressing urgently against your thigh. His hands roamed your body, touching you possessively, as if trying to erase the memories of his past with the feel of your skin.
"Iām sorry," he murmured, his lips brushing against your neck. "Iām so sorry for everything. But I canāt stop. I canāt think straight when Iām around you."
His hand slide under your skirt, his fingers pushing aside your underwear. You gasp at the sudden contact, your body tensing beneath him. With each ragged breath Silco takes, each desperate kiss he presses to your skin, you feel the weight of his sins settling onto your shoulders. His past, his ghosts, his corpses, theyāre all here in this room with you, pressing down on your chest until itās hard to breathe.
Each thrust of his hips, each possessive touch of his hands, is a reminder of the lives heās taken, the pain heās caused. And yet, you canāt bring yourself to push him away. Thereās a desperation in his touch, a hunger that speaks of a soul starved for connection, for redemption. You tell yourself itās just sex, just a physical release. But deep down, you know itās more than that. With every kiss, every breath, Silco is trying to bury his pain in your body, to wash away his sins in the heat of your embrace.
When he pulls away, his forehead rests against yours, breath ragged. He doesnāt speak for a long time. But when he finally does, his voice is hoarse, almost broken.
"I need you," he whispers. "More than I need this city, more than I need anything. But I canāt stop, love. I canāt change what I am."
You stare at him, your chest aching with the conflict inside you. You wish he could be the man you hoped he could be, the man who would fight for you, not just for power. But deep down, you know that man doesnāt exist. The Silco in front of you is a man consumed by the very darkness he created.
And yet, even as you see the damage heās done, the devastation heās left in his wake, you still canāt walk away.
You are bound to him. And he to you.
But with every breath, with every kiss, you know he leaves another corpse on your conscience.
"And if I said 'Dad'!Fisk x reader x 'Uncle'Wesley...?"

No but I've always been a sucker for the 'mob boss taking in a stray kid' bit, but let's make it freaky. You were some kid that got let out of the system right at 18 and became homeless, only to have a run in with the King Pin, which somehow resulted in him taking you under his wing. He sees himself in you, in your anger at the system. You get a nice room with your own on-suite and walk-in closet. He teaches you how to box and helps you out in the gym, brings you along on occasional business deals, teaches you to shoot. He becomes your father figure and you the chi,d he never knew he wanted or needed.
And then their is Uncle Wesley, of course, always their, ensuring you always have everything you could ever need or want. Chaperoning you around to the mall and such when fisk can't.
But after living with them for a few years and being in your 20s, it's starts to shift. Forehead and cheek kisses linger longer and grow nearer to your lips, the hand on your lower back patting your butt to usher you instead. Think what would really push the relationship to change would be reader wanting to start dating. No one is good enough for their precious little one, and they should only need their dad and uncle. They will fulfill all your needs and wantsš
