Turning with a surprised face, Daw looked from the girl’s face to the smarphone in her hand. There was no doubt it was hers, with that crack on the top of the screen. «Thank you…!» with a smile, she lightly bowed, her eyes falling on the apron around her waist. «It was really nice of you to bring it back to me!» Working in a restaurants, she appreciated the gesture even more. The girl was probably really busy, but still used her time to follow her and give her the phone back.
Miho almost twitched back when the girl turned around, mumbling a quick “I’m sorry...” without looking at her. Working at a café was one thing, but interacting with humans a different. All she ever did was work at the back, take care of the food and the coffee but only rarely did she get in direct contact with customers. She had noticed the girl in front of her right when she had entered the café and admittedly had stared at her whenever she had gotten the chance. Something was different about her. Something told Miho she had a connection to the sea. Her own thoughts made her so uncomfortable that she just wanted to run back and never come out of her shell again, but something froze her in place... “D-do you like the ocean?” it came stumbling over her lips suddenly, leaving her gasping in surprise over her own random question, adding another apology.

A gentle soul with his bright smile plastered on his face, a doctor whose mere presence had a somewhat curing effect on his patients. This was the reputation he carried with him. The nurse’s automatic reaction was a genuine smile and she excused herself with a bow once she’d led Satoru’s next patient to his office. The doctor browsed through the file until the door closed and he could drop the facade. He set the file on the desk and sat back with his attention turned on the young girl, visibly intrigued.
“How can I help you today, Honoka-chan?” He inquired instantly with his calm tone, he was aware of her true motive which certainly wasn’t to get him describe her something for her pain, based on their past encounters.
