can't believe i could still log in to this old and dusty tumblr but waving from here! hope you don't mind this but here i go: so i read your great and creative fics yeah?

and i got to know that you like some specific tropes and themes-at least in the fics i've read. with that in mind i considered sharing something with you.

i read many tsugikuni bros fanfics-from gen to everything. while doing that i've sort of traversed over to the Chinese fandom………where there are some amazingGG fics. But Enian, you might ask, do you read Mandarin Chinese? no, i wish. but there are workarounds as with everything. i read those fics with an auto-translate browser plugin: twp on firefox, or the native Translate function on mobile chrome. Which of course means some of the artistic details of the narrative voice is lost, but no language barrier gonna stop me from reading amazing (dark, explicit) fic right?

that was a longass detour to my point: there's one fic that made me cry, and fan to fan, i thought to share it with you too.

if you every feel like it or got the time to read it. Warnings though, it's very dramatic. very tragic. those archive warnings are soooo earned. but i think this would be up your alley precisely because of the stories you imagine and write. for all i know maybe you've already read it? it's not long.

the fic is 鬼母 by xiaoshoe

it translates to 'Demon mother'

…… the title alone might give an idea already of the direction. it aligns with canon too, in an interesting way by the end.

Chinese fandom got some awesome tsugikuni fics. i'm happy i've decided to check my tags for those non-english gems.

Good to see you on here. And yes, the Chinese fics are beautiful! It is eye opening and so intriguing to read fics from perspectives outside of my own culture. I read a lot of them (also through translation and asking friends and family who are fluent Chinese speakers to help me with metaphors, honestly the translation is the worst for metaphorical language...).

And I love fic recs!

Thank you. I looked it up immediately and put it into my tbr. I read quite a lot so feel free to rec fics for me. I am actually a lot less picky about what I'll read than what I choose to focus my writing on, but the twins are my favorite for sure!

I have a few of the Chinese fics that I've particularly enjoyed in my bookmarks on A03 ( 【日黑】同色异谱 by Chajiang_361 !!!! I was screaming at the plot twists it had me in a chokehold), but am always looking to read more fics. So thank you! I love the suggestions and welcome them!

Good to hear from you! My day is going great actually. It will be even better tomorrow when I get my new laptop (the video card on my old one broke and it was just as much to fix it as it was to buy a new one) I can't wait to be able to write again!
