Holding his hand up to block away the rays of sun that were coming from the window, Joshua looked up at the ceiling of the bedroom. It took him only a second to realize that he wasn't in his own room. A soft smirk crossed his lips before he turned to the side as he noticed that Desiree was still sleeping. Pausing for a moment, the vampire tried to listen to the sounds around the house. It became like a habit to him as soon as Josh would wake up. If Kimberly was there, he wouldn't let this chance to slip away through his fingers. But once again, there was nothing. Only silence. Rolling his eyes slightly, knowing that he would need to go back to his apartment soon and face Alaric, Joshua got out of the bed, not even bothering to grab his clothes or a blanket, before he walked out of the bedroom toward the kitchen. Prudish or modest weren't two words that could describe his personality. This was his girlfriend's house, so Joshua could walk around naked if he wanted. Grabbing a green apple, he tossed it into the air before it fall back into his palm. Josh bit down on the apple before he turned on the coffee machine to make some coffee for him and Desiree.
