Remor is trauma, cruelty and darkness, he's the manifestation of her troubled mind a way. His appearance is close to a roadkill animal, carcass on the side of the road. Fran Bow got found by her childhood home, on the street, just like roadkill animals or animals that could potentially become such. He manifests in a mental hospital, source of good chunk of Fran's trauma and is impersonating a doctor.

Mr. Voice/Morgo is a child with adult voice, he refuses to grow up and he keeps making up stories. Misfortune is a kid who is put in situations beyond her years and is forced to witness things she's too kid to understand. We see that she's aware, she's very much fully aware of what's going on around her, but acknowledging so is painful. Yet she calls herself a (little) Lady, a title belonging to older women and imagines herself in a position of power, something she does not possess. Morgo also has the appearance of a deer which are known to stare into the headlights, like Misfortune, when he father ran her over.

We've got Benjamin, the older and more responsible sibling, but who still got outside support, in a way he's more a guardian protector rather than a parent.

Misfortune is a kid left to their own devices from pretty early in life, witnessing things she was too young to understand and so to cope she... Pretends they are alright. She doesn't understand every bad thing happening to her, nor does she want to, because the reality is just upsetting. It's scary. But also these bad things have been the normal during her childhood.
