With the lights off and the curtains open, the moonlight beams through the window. Killian is inpatient, striping you of your clothes and falling to his knees. 

His plump lips glide over you, a stark contrast to the coarseness of his beard, which scratches your soft skin. His fingers aren’t far behind when they follow the trail his lips have carved into your body.

“You are perfect the way you are, love.” Killian murmured between the kisses he pressed to every inch of your body. “Perfect for me.”

Embarrassed, you cover your face not wanting to see yourself; refusing to see what Killian saw. The pirate notices your movements and immediately kisses his way up your body. The body that he had to love a little more because you didn’t; he didn’t need much convincing to love your body.

“I promise you, love. You have nothing to fear, nothing to be ashamed of when you’re with me. Nothing, I tell you.” Killian’s words were sincere, you believed him but his words had only healed some wounds that came with your wretched past. 

“That’s a bad habit, love.” Killian started, leaning against the door frame. “A terrible one, I should say.”

Rolling your eyes, you played with the ring on your finger, taking another puff of the cigarette you had stolen from Killian’s drawer. “It’s from your stash, pirate.”

“Which is why you shouldn’t be smoking them, lassie.” He took the cigar from your fingers and put it out.

He tugged off his leather jacket and untied his shoelaces, yanking off his heavy duty boots before joining you on the bed.

“I don’t know why but I’m nervous and I know I shouldn’t be but I am.” Killian just smiled, holding his palm out for you to take.

“Can I tell you a secret?” He started, intertwining your fingers together. “I’m nervous too. But I overreacted. I am marrying the love of my life and there is nothing for me to be afraid of.”
