Well, Nappa was burly and a little drunk, so that guise would work pretty well, all things considered. He was also just looking out for the young Prince. Besides, the boy’s King Father would not have approved of some Arcosian cousin species drooling all over his son, treaties be damned.

“I thought perhaps he was forgetting himself. Any spawn of a dignitary, no matter how important, is beneath that of the Prince of All Saiyans. Unless…”

He paled a moment, cheeks slightly flushed with drink growing more so.

“You weren’t, uh, courting them, were you?”

   He doubts the old man will acknowledge it, but its an automatic response. There’s a pulse at the very least— that was the most important thing he’d have to worry less about. Gingerly, he hefts up the unconscious being, resisting the urge to throw them over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes to instead cradle them.
