Revenge || Clay + Hayden
Hayden wasn't used to this vampire thing. Not at all. She had finally been released from the hospital a few days ago, and now here she was, a vampire. As for her wounds- they hadn't planned a date to remove her scars, but she was healing well. He hair had grown back, and with the help of some fancy smancy Capitol medicines, it had grown enough to be considered a pixie cut. She liked it. It covered all the scars on her head.
There were still so many others. Her hands and feet were wrecked, the long scars still so clear, obvious enough that people stared at them. The wound on her shoulder had healed, the scar hidden under her clothes, the same with the huge, long scar that was going down her side. That one was bad enough that she still had to wear a bandage over it. The stitches weren't near ready to come out yet.
Along her arms and legs were a ton of little scars, marking all of her skin, from the little cuts and nails she was forced to sit on. Yet she didn't hide those. She wore a tank top and a short sleeved cardigan, not bothering. Anyone that stared too long now would get drained of blood anyways.
The veins were clear under her eyes, from the near painful hunger that was causing her belly to scream at her. She had been trapped inside all the damn day, unable to go near any window, any outside world. It burned her. The worst pain she had experienced in awhile. And now she was starving.Â
Looking down an ally, she saw him. Clay. Her torturer. The anger rose up inside of her so quickly she felt like she was going to vomit on the spot- but then she remembered what she was- she was stronger. For the first time in her life, no one could hurt her. She was unstoppable.Â
So she started towards him, limping awkwardly as she walked. Her knee caps weren't completely healed. Walking was a challenge in itself.Â
Before she reached him, she made sure to suffocate her hunger, so the veins and fangs weren't seen. This would be taken as a surprise for him- she'd play up the fear at first, make it seem like she was helpless and afraid of him, and then give him a taste of his own medicine. "C-Clay?"
