The woman was smiling faintly as she hopped down from the stepladder, dusting her hands off on her jeans. The shop was finally coming together, more or less, with a lot of outside help.
The article was something she’d done on the side. She still needed income, after all, now that she’d quit reporting... and people needed to know those that protected their city. At least those willing to put their names and faces out there on the line.
