Current fave Kiffu/Kiffar headcanons:
Clan Vos makes their tattoo ink in part from a blooming desert flower called "the Yellow Star Flower" that looks a little bit like the Guardian Medallion (based on this type of wildflower)
Because of the lightning storms on Kiffu, they're resistant to the ill effects of being struck by it (this lore was developed in the QuinObi server, and I love it so much)
Kiffar have a special place for music in their culture and have a long history of folk songs that everyone knows. I've written both Quinlan being a musician as well as listening to music to calm psychometric reactions (and just generally) and that idea has folded itself more and more into my own personal lore

As the ruling clan, Clan Vos lives in a sort of compound near Kiffu's largest town. It's not one big building, though, but a lot of round homes, varied in size (and based off both a lot of architecture in parts of Africa and also older types of indigenous homes in say, the American southwest, but Star Warsify it, etc.) These structures tend to have tile floors to cool the house during the day and big fireplaces to warm them at night (the wild swings of desert temperatures!)
Because Kiffar have a tendency toward psychometry (not all psychometric Kiffar are Force-sensitive enough to be Jedi, Quin is kind of prodigy, but it seems like it's a power that works to a degree in Kiffar particularly, even if their midichlorian count isn't high enough to become Jedi, though of course not all have it) they also have earlier memory recall generally
Because of the prevalence of psychometry and how the Kiffar value it, they also value cultural memory generally and make a lot of art, poetry, and music ruminating on the nature of memory
