The merman was looking out the window, watching the neighbors putting up Christmas decorations and lights in their front yards. “Kid? What are they doing?” He asked, feeling a little confused by what was happening. But who could blame him? He hadn’t been living on the surface for very long so everything was still very new to him.

"He's not here?" Kid frowned a little, "that sucks, I was hoping to see him while I'm in town, haven't seen him for a couple years." ((guess who~))

Kid walked up to Huor, "Huor, is there anywhere I can go to practice my swordplay?" Kid was wearing a pair of trousers and shoes with his sword on his belt but no shirt. He was strong and it showed, but he had scars that ran along under his pecs and more littered over his chest, back and arms. They were all fully healed but one of them was still in the stages of healing and couldn't be more than a few months old, it was clearly a stab wound in his stomach.

“Stay away from the humans, Zeno. They’re nothing but trouble.” Everyone had warned the merman about the humans but he couldn’t help but be curious about them, especially this human in particular. He always saw him on a strange looking ship and his chest looked different from the other humans. Zeno watched the men on the ship, hiding behind a rock whenever he saw one looking his way.

"What do you mean people saw a pirate ship?" Kid responded overhearing what the long haired man was saying to the bartender. ((guess who~))
