“Arin have you seen the VHS of the Last Unicorn? Dan had a pretty bad day and Suzy and I wanted to cheer him up,” Holly said. She was waist deep in the collection of tapes that took up multiple shelves in the kids’ playroom when Arin walked in.

Immediately, his face went pale and his body stiff. “Uh...What did it look like?” All the while, he slowly maneuvered himself over to the tape player underneath the small TV. He never took his eyes off of Holly, but she wasn’t looking at him anyway.

She paused before answering. “Like a VHS? I dunno. Dan said it says ‘The Last Unicorn’ on it, but I haven’t seen it and I think I’ve looked through all of these at least twice.”

Oh dip that’s a lot. OKAY.

1. That is an awesome idea. Ross is absolutely infatuated with it (since it was his idea) and he tells EVERYONE about it. Like every time they make any headway on the project, he’s ranting about it for the next week. Teachers, friends, siblings, Jack and Vernon, they’re all hearing about it. And it’s a looooong project. But also Arin doing most of the writing because everything he suggests makes Ross laugh really hard and he likes it so much so they always keep Arin’s suggestions.

2. Eight year old Danny with exclusively 80s taste in music is a great image. Like he can sing songs that even Vernon and Jack don’t know when they’re in the car and stuff. And he HITS those notes like damn. And all the kids at school thinks he writes those songs because they’re like way too young to even begin to know them, so they’re like “what the heck, why is he so good, what do those lyrics even mean?”

3. I see your “Brian being a huge nerd and discussing concepts with his teachers” and raise you “high school Brian viciously tearing down teachers with facts when they’re wrong and don’t want to admit it” like Brian would decimate asshole teachers who get stuff wrong all the time. And he has no time for their bullshit either.

4. Okay but like high school Ross and Holly spending time after school volunteering at bird sanctuaries because they love them so much. And like Holly is the most passionate about it, but Ross is having a great time, too. He loves the little feathery birbs, too. But no one at school believes that Ross actually volunteers there because they only know him as the obnoxious kid who gets on everyone’s nerves for fun.

1. Yes, he so would sing them sleepytime junction that is adorable.

2. Arin and Ross would BOTH be huge weebs. And they would probably draw tons of Dragonball fanart and stuff. And would definitely pretend to be the characters all the time because their dorks and I love it. Also, Arin being able to recite crunchyroll commercials on demand, all the way through, no line missed. (I used to be able to do that with certain commercials when I was a kid too)
