Normal shouldn't be a word they found themself nodding along to when in a place like this. Airships travelling an endless sky scattered with floating islands, every edge a threat they couldn't quite comprehend, so starkly different from the solid ground of both Japan and Central country. Yet, when approached with this new reality they had come to accept it rather easily all things considered. Or, well, at least once their heart had calmed from the sudden free fall before Rutile had caught them on his broom.
"You don't have to worry, everything has been fine," which would, perhaps, be more reassuring had the words not come from the Sage who had become used to various fights and material damages occurring within their living spaces. At most the overwhelming factors was centered on the continuous new meetings even aboard the Grandcypher itself. Getting to know twenty-one strangers and finding out their likes and dislikes had felt like a somewhat daunting task once they had accepted their so-called position of the Sage, but compared to that…these numbers were nothing short of impressive.
"In fact, everyone was very kind and showed me a lot of different magic and tricks they knew—even alchemy! It almost felt like a festival," by which any of the usual crewmembers would be able to tell Gran that things had not been normal this very day. "…Besides, I think that just goes to show how much they miss you," impatiently and restlessly waiting for someone dear to return home, all the while continously talking about them.
