Also for the 3327 suggestion thing. Saying "The moon is beautiful" instead of saying "I love you."
They were sitting on the grass on top of a hill after Tsunaâs failed confession 138, simply enjoying the pleasant cold night breeze and the view of the stars and the moon up above.Â
Even though Tsunaâs confession had failed splendidly, and to such a degree in which he never wanted to think of it again, he still was glad that he had done it because it led up right to this moment: the moment of quiet and calm peace between RyĹhei and Tsuna as they both relaxed in the presence and comfort of each other. In this point of time, it didnât matter that Tsuna failed yet again in confessing his love, or that his love might be one-sided and may never come to fruition. None of that mattered as the scent of grass filled the air, stars shining, the moment stretching out like warabi mochi.Â
Tsuna looked up at the sky, at the large and ethereal moon hanging in the sky and sighed out, âThe moon is beautiful, isnât it?âÂ
He expected RyĹhei to immediately reply with something along the lines of affirmation but all there was was silence and a sudden stillness from next to him. Curious, Tsuna turned to face RyĹhei and was immediately alert.Â
RyĹheiâs face was entirely red, from his cheeks to the top of his ears, and his eyes were furiously darting everywhere but Tsuna. Upon noticing that Tsuna was looking at him, RyĹhei immediately stood up.Â
âSorry Tsuna!â RyĹhei said loudly. âI just remembered I have something to do! I will see you again later!âÂ
And, with that, he was gone, leaving Tsuna so terribly confused.Â
-o-
RyĹheiâs face was still horribly red when he finally got home.Â
RyĹhei wasnât an idiot, despite what all others may think of him, and he knew the poet Sosuke Natsume as much as everyone else did. He also knew what the famous âthe moon is beautiful, isnât it?â phrase meant but there was no way Tsuna meant that, right? Tsuna was a straightforward guy! If Tsuna wanted to tell RyĹhei something, especially something of such importance, Tsuna would tell it to him straight to his face. And RyĹhei would definitely notice it, right? Right.Â
RyĹhei slowly cooled down, realizing that he had jumped to conclusions. And he had left Tsuna right there, on that hill, by himself! That was irresponsible of him; RyĹhei should have walked him home! That was what gentlemen did! And RyĹhei was a gentleman through and through, as being a gentleman was part of being an Extreme Man. Also, it was probably an Extreme Man thing to do, walking your partner home after a date. Not that Tsuna and RyĹhei had been on a date, but RyĹhei would walk Tsuna home regardless because RyĹhei liked Tsuna...
RyĹhei liked Tsuna. ...oh. Oh. Oh.Â
