In 2009 the Iranian group Kiosk covered this song in the Iranian dialect               ( « Yarom Bia » ) with the help of the Sufi artist Mohsen Namjoo. The group preserved the Tajik origins of the song and paid tribute to Muboraksho by keeping the lyric « از بدخشانمه ... ( ...from Badakhshan ) » and featuring clips from Soviet director Sergei Parajanov’s 1969 film « The Colour of Pomegranates (Цвет граната) » in the music video.

Rare 17th century Persian Khorassan. Once attributed to the Caucasus on the basis of semi geometric , bold design and bright colors, they are now universally ascribed to Khorassan, possibly Herat, possibly birjand, but not Meshad which became active as a Rug weaving center only in the late 19th century. The Metropolitan Museum In NY has a finely colored example, and two restored are in Philadelphia. The Kein collection UK, had a very well preserved carpet with a unique Ivory border. The trees are probably oriental plane tree and somewhat resemble those in the Kurdish garden antique carpets of West Persia.
