TBH the run up to the boss was worse for me than the actual boss and since you're going for a bleed build i'd say you're definitely gonna not have that much trouble sfdlkjsdlkf i would bring some sleep grease tho that would be helpful altho i couldn't use it bc my swords were unique and you can't put grease on unique swords which i DID NOT KNOW!!!

i actually do strength bc for my specific rapier the buff on the sword scaled with strength, along with my backup weapon i use in the mines against the rock enemies! i split roughly 50/50 on dex and str!! so trust me there's method to the madness sdkjlflksdjfj but i ended up shifting things a little so i went to rennala and got things reworked some!! im shocked your endurance is so low omg how do you manage stamina :o i rely so heavily on it slkdjflskdf

im shocked that it's new players who have trouble with the timing on margit and other enemies tbh :o after playing the other games i'd say it was a hard learning curve for me bc i was used to the pretty constant and QUICK attack timings from the previous games, at least in ds3 and bloodborne! margit broke me out of that but the timing initially was a curveball for me since i was used to shorter attack lengths </3 but now that i think about it i think my biggest struggle when trying ds2 was that the attack timings were so insanely different from the first game that i just had the worst time of my life lkdjfslkddjf something FS loves to do is throw learning curve bosses at you and i'd say that's kinda was margit felt like! kinda like them teaching you the mechanics in full and showing off the timings for you to observe and learn while not being overly aggressive it felt like a good balance to me <3

im hearing that about radahn too? i did him before the patch myself and again i think i just got super lucky bc he was rather slow and didn't do many big attacks for me so i had lots of opportunity and was a bit overleveled for him 😭 i think a majority of my struggles with bosses so far have simply been me going in underleveled so the attacks are far more punishing :') don't worry the real damn challenge will def come! i hear malenia is FARRRR worse than him and they don't have any plans on patching her so LDKSFJK eek <3

it's funny you mention looking for the dectus medallions bc i literally JUST found my second half when i played earlier tonight i was like omg?! i forgot about u!? the carian study hall omg yes i really love that place!! i think they did so well with all the scenery and landscapes like it's so nutty to me that they put SO much detail into every single place like they all feel so nice and unique except for some enemies lkfjslfkd i've been going on another run through caelid bc i kinda beelined for radahn and did nothing else but! i just beat rykard! altho i beat the two bosses in leyndell before doing that bc i did it out of order slkfjsl so technically i have to go to another lift i think it's called rold?? but then i have another other one so right now i have 3 halves of 3 separate medallions but just got my other half for dectus so i guess im going there first 😭

if im honest im still quite lost about the actual story bc some dude is telling me that golden order good, then another lady is saying they're bad, then another is telling me to burn everything, then some other guy is telling me they're all wrong and im just very like WHO IS RIGHT!! what i've gathered so far is that the two fingers (whoever that is i think it's a god??) wants someone to collect the shards of the elden ring but all the current holders of the shards don't want to give their pieces up to each other and they refuse to fight each other as well? except malenia and radahn fought but apparently both lost and neither lost their shard? once i went through leyndell and got to the final boss in that area they unleashed a whole new flurry of information that made things more confusing to me tho 😭

but gosh yes the TOWER <3 im so in love with the towers that one and there's another that matches it but i can't remember the name ?? it's so hard to find info on lore and backstory right now im guessing since everything is still so new <//3 but right now im exploring this rather creepy area called sellia town of sorcery and it's very dark and spooky but sooo ATMOSPHERIC!!! i swear they do atmospheres and areas so incredibly well then they have great soundtracks and boss design and cool cutscenes just ahhhhh so much cool stuff to be seen and explored!! thankfully,,,i haven't had to face the godskin duo yet bc i quite literally will want to rip my hair out im CERTAIN!! im actually dreading them so awfully much im putting them off as long as humanly possible lkjfSLKDLKSF one of them was actually fallingstar beast? but then they patched him so he does less damage now so he's so much less difficult im telling you i was level 90 and this dude was oneshotting me CONSTANTLY before the patch 😭 then the other was fia's champions which gave me hell bc i really suck at pvp in FS games and that whole fight hinges on your ability to do pvp fighting but with npcs and yea i hurt a lot there <3 didn't do myself any favors by going there severely underleveled either 😭

the online messages are so fun and lovely i agree it's such a nice thing to have and while a majority are of course people being funny there are many that are so helpful about warnings and guiding you when you're lost it's so nice 😭😭😭

i think imo elden ring has been the most accessible for me personally and for people i know who haven't played any FS games!! i agree with you, i spent a lot of time watching streamers struggle immensely so i was super worried and scared about it being like,,,,ridiculously nonsense difficult but it wasn't!! im horrid about doing things in order tho so i'll admit i have made things way more difficult for myself than i could be T-T i felt like for me with margit it kinda clicked and made sense and i got my timing down there then by the time i got to radahn i was better at dodging and such so i was lucky enough with RNG to knock him out first try lkkljsflkd

im not sure where you arer in terms of story so i don't wanna be like talking out my ass about bosses and stuff SLDKFJSLFKD but i just beat my fourth elden lord dude thingy but i did it out of order so i think he was supposed to be the third one? but still i don't think i've had much trouble with the required bosses either! it feels much easer than other souls games and idk if that's bc the game is easier or it's just easier to grasp!!! there's a big difficulty curve i think depending on the ending you go for and i accidentally locked myself into that ending so now it feels a bit like im back to level 1 all over and im hitting enemies with a TOOTHPICK 😭 but it's still so fun it's so pretty and the music is lovely and the setting and scenery and graphics just aaaaa im so in love with it <33 definitely up there with bloodborne for me personally i think they perfected so much about the series with elden ring and made it a wonderful thing 😭 the sheer quantity of bosses is just BONKERS!! i made myself a spreadsheet to keep track of who i'm beating and such bc im a completionist and my god i keep having to add to it bc it's so so many 😩

i've been hyped since it was first announced and tbh i was only nervous about the STORY bc george rr martin was gonna be working on it but honestly this story makes more sense to me than any of the other games i feel as though they are much more willing to give information about the story through characters and dialogue and that makes it easier to digest so im loving it i really do thing it's the perfect blend of everything they have built up in previous games 😭 im playing on pc too and tbh i've not really had performance issues either so like,,,im having the best experience i can!! i will say tho there are two bosses in particular who drove me nuts just bc im personally not good at fighting multiple bosses at once bc i have a hard time managing them but again i found out that i did them way earlier than i should have and made it awfully difficult for myself so that's kinda on me HAHA one day... one day i'll learn to be better about that... bc i do that in every FS game...

i ended up talking out my ass anyways i could go on forever too CLEARLY!!! but yeah it's a 10.5/10 for me characters are phenomenal amazing attractive in luv with them the voice acting is crazy good radagon is highkey hot but YOU DIDN'T HEAR THAT FROM ME! blaidd too if you take away the furry bits his voice is just so nice and he's tall and has a big sword it's the perfect man right there <3
