“Wish I could lay in your lap,” he said.

Your in a long-distance call with Christian.

“Hmmm.. why’s that?” you asked him and laughed a little, as you shifted a bit in your chair.

“Fuck that, I wanna kiss you right now” he then said ignoring your question.

“What again?” somehow your voice became high pitched. You sighed, maybe you're still nervous around him.

Four months in a relationship with him is still a new for you. Specially when it come to LDR. You just met him on an event around Down Town LA and met like two time and the rest was through facetime.

Sometimes, you can't help but question yourself what came into you that made you said yes to him when he asked you to be his girlfriend.

“What’s wrong now? I know you’re only acting like this if something happens” you said with a laugh.

“No! It's nothing!” he said, you heard him moved. “You know what - you’re so mean sometimes”.

Now you can almost see how he pouted. “just tell me…” your voice becomes softer.

“I miss you…” he said.

“Babe..” you said with a sigh.

“People talked bad about you here!”

“Just ignore them, Christian,” you said with a sigh. “You know that anyone is allowed to judge me in any way they want; we can’t control that” you added.

“But! you’re my girlfriend, how am I supposed to sit still when they talk like that!?” Christian said, with a cracked voice, you think he’s about to punch someone.

But, you adore this side of him, he’s so expressive with his feelings, which is something that you're struggling with. Yet; somehow he always can figure you out.

And, as if he can read your mind, he said with a soft voice, “You’re overthinking again…”

“Sorry, I just…” sighed; “You don’t have to be with me you know… if… if it’s too hard for you?” your voice broke.

“Love.. don’t talk like that, you’re supposed to comfort me” He probably buried his face in something.

Both of you went silent for a while, and all you can hear was his breathing.

“Hey… love?” he said in a hushed tone. “Look, I’m sorry, okay? I just… I know it’s hard, it’s often unbearable - But, I promise you.. I’ll be with you through everything” he said.

You can't help it but just smile.

“Thank you, Christian. I'm so lucky to be your girlfriend and to be in your life.” you said while trying your best not to cry.

"I love you, Y/N.. always."
