today is a very special day. not only is it @cortneylesovoy’s birthday, but in honor of it, she decided to create a line to highlight today that means a lot to her. we’re introducing our MMIW awareness line. MMIW stands for missing and murdered indigenous women. with this line, we want to combat colonialism and help woman, children and two spirit who are victims of colonial violence. we will be going in depth over the next week about the native symbols we chose for this line. we are not in any way trying to culturally appropriate. if you are indigenous and see a problem with any of this, please dm us. that’s the last thing we want to do. it’s also native american heritage month. as white people, we recognize the damage, the genocide our people have caused in the indigenous community. it’s time for that to end. it’s time for US imperialism to end. *all profits will be donated to the coalition to stop violence against native women.
